  • DB Nasir Bowers, Toledo (UDFA)
  • OT Travis Burke, Memphis (UDFA)
  • CB Duce Chestnut, Syracuse (UDFA)
  • CB Elijah Culp, James Madison (UDFA)
  • DB Michael Dansby, Arizona (UDFA)
  • OL Nick Dawkins, Penn State (UDFA)
  • CB Daylen Everette, Georgia (Day 2)
  • CB Ayden Garnes, Arizona (UDFA)
  • OL Gunnar Hansen, Florida State (UDFA)
  • DT Zxavian Harris, Ole Miss (Day 3)
  • OL Austin Leausa, BYU (UDFA)
  • WR Keontez Lewis, Oklahoma (UDFA)
  • K Laith Marjan, Kansas (UDFA)
  • DE Akheem Mesidor, Miami (Day 2)
  • WR Treyvhon Saunders, Colgate (UDFA)
  • LB Malick Sylla, Mississippi State (UDFA)
  • S Michael Taaffe, Texas (Day 2)
  • WR Antonio Williams, Clemson (Day 2)
  • WR E.J. Williams Jr, Indiana (UDFA)

I don't think Everette or Taaaffe go on Day 2. They are late 4th/5th rounders to me.

Can get Jalon Kilgore (huge playmaker) at SS or Bud Clark (center fielder ballhawk) at FS at pick 92 and Clark if drops a little could fall to 127. If we drafted Taaffe over either of those two at #92 I'd be livid and have Nick Martin and Stout flashbacks from last year. Taaffe at 138 would be fine if we have not drafted a S yet.

Not a very exciting list here.
All those "Day2" guys - Lynch is like "hold my beer".

Thought the same exact thing. Hope they're not trying to outsmart the league one more gain
I feel like they spend at lot of time with those day 3 UDFA guys in hopes they can sign some of them after the draft. Those guys get to pick where they want to go. It's kinda free money.

once we get closer to the draft we will see some of the higher level draft prospects on that list.

ya typically you only meet with drafted players if you are spending a super high capitol or if you have questions that will remove them from your board or determine if they are worth a trade up for - typically in first round

To be fair. This is a list of guys that they met with at the combine or post season all star games. The 30 visits haven't been announced yet, and probably won't be until sometime in April.

In the past the combine visits at least use to have a lot of quality players. This list here is very underwhelming

As we get closer to the draft you'll see the visits with the higher profile prospects.

They don't announce who they met with. We only find out from media folks asking the players if they met with teams. Steph Sanchez usually does a great job keeping track of the visits, interviews but she must be busy this year cuz she hasn't been tracking it like last few years.

Of course we've had drafted players say they've met with us just once or none at all. Kyle and John have talked about that they try to keep it a mystery for other teams and sometimes will bring in players they have no interest in.
Added OL Alex Harkey and DT Landon Robinson to the list. Harkey played Right Tackle but projects to move inside to Guard. Robinson looks like a 3T who could provide some pass rush. Also added is LB Mason Woods, who is probably a WILL candidate. DE Kris Trinidad appears to be a big DE in the Mykel WIlliams mold. WR Camden Brown has good size and was productive in his final year at Georgia Southern. Kansas DT Tommy Dunn is a tweener, too short for DE and too small for the inside. DE Nathan Voorhis from Ball State is too small for DE and likely only a pass rusher. OL Fintan Brose looks like a future Jeff Brendel.

All are likely UDFA prospects, although I tagged Robinson as Day 3 given his Pro Day performance.

All these visits are nothing new. They do it every year. I don't know how much they actually learn during these visits but every team does them. Some people are much better at interviews than they are at working. But you know the old saying. One man's garbage is another man's treasure.

Violent tackler. Good mentality for a special teamer.
