Would you keep him at G or mov him to C? He took snaps at C at the Senior Bowl

LG and go from there. We're not playing a rookie at center imo

me likey Max Iheanachor at 27 He has the precise blend of size and athleticism that the 49ers badly need. Put him at LG and go from there.

Bro I'm right there with you. I'd be happy with him as our pick at 27. I was really impressed with him in Senior Bowl

Alright, bro, it's settled. Write the pick down, John Lynch. We're taking Max Iheanachor at 27.

I would take Rutledge all day he is an immediate starting LG.

After Rutledge there is a big drop in talent.

Pregnon is superior but Rutledge would be great. Prob have to draft him at 58.

Max is a dawg, I said it before he looks like he could be the next Trent. Would be phenomenal learning next to him. We have a gaping wide opportunity to start at LG, WR2/3, S, LB2, DT, DE. OT of the future too. Fully expect us to target all those spots this off-season. Zero excuse not to.

We couldn't draw up a better scenario. 49ers land a talented guy with high-end upside and traits to be the future left tackle. He plays next to Trent for the next few seasons, soaks up as much game as possible and then replaces him at left tackle once Trent retires.
Burton's combine feat stuns NFL scouts
Kentucky center Jager Burton delivered one of the most athletic NFL Combine performances ever for his position, ranking seventh all-time among tested centers. He clocked a 4.94-second 40-yard dash, posted a 9-foot-3 broad jump, and hit a 28-inch vertical, earning the second-best center grade at this year's event. His elite athleticism, versatility across the offensive line, and strong pre-draft showings could boost his NFL Draft stock into Day 3 selection territory.

Just got done watching Kadyn Proctor's tape. Even if he loses more weight, I'm not convinced he can play OT at the next level. OG though.. he could be a mauler. Those hands are powerful af.

Just a reminder as we get closer to OL workouts.

Feels like less guys are running it but 4.47 seems to be the mark for good potential at OL and one 49ers likely pay attention to.

Jason Kelce hit an elite time in his day of 4.14 😧

A cheat code to playing in the NFL maybe but most of those are mediocre linemen.

Kelce is an outlier of speed and power. Usually, you are sacrificing one for the other.
I feel like this is the year that OT might be BPA while meeting need at 27.

Who knows how things will play out with Trent, but I could envision a scenario where they cut Trent; move McKivitz to left tackle, and draft a guy like Max Iheanachor or Blake Miller to be the starting right tackle. This would allow them to save a s**t ton of money at left tackle and OL in general. It would be such a Paraag move.
