Dunker at 58 (Pregnon even better if he somehow falls) or pray Rutledge is still there at 92. Big drop off after those guys. But yeah in the mock simulators I'm often grabbing one of the above in rounds 2 and 3. Unless we sign that Semuleo guy in FA

I'm getting real Mike McGlinchey vibes with Monroe Freeling.

🐶315 & developing, not 300-305 like some more scheme specific (Fano/Lomu)
🐶Can play both Tackle spots (has). No questions about Guard kick-in potential

6'7", 315 — and he moves like this in pass pro.

Ideal length + the ability to expand set points and redirect against counters is why Monroe Freeling is a legit riser.

What do you guys think of Connor Lew and Jake Slaughter at Center? I know I am dreaming, but I would not mind them going for one in the second round.

Lew looks like a franchise center. He's athletic but has enough power to hold up against bigger DT's, outstanding awareness and has good experience against some top competition. If not for the ACL injury I think he'd be a lock to be a 1st round lock.

No 2nd round C worth it. Maybe at 92 if Brailsford, Lew, or Gulbin are there.
Not sure how serious Shanalynch are about grabbing a C high but I would not complain with any of the three above as they can be franchise centers and get Kyle off of freaking Brendel within the first year as they are already far better.
Any other center is gonna sit behind Brendel since Kyle has a crush on him for some reason

I'm thinking they grab Austin Barber in the 3rd round. He needs at least a year of development before he can be a starter. Cayden Green might be a mid-to-late round possibility for a guy who probably develops for two years.

Why wouldn't a high end C be worth a 2nd rounder?

In terms of BPA - domt think there is a center this year worthy of a 2nd round pick. But id take anyone those three guys with #92 as they would immediately show they're better than Brendel and we can move off him.

Bailsford should be available well beyond 92 imo, and will have many of the same struggles as brendel.

We will see - he is tailor made for a zone scheme so we'd prob value him higher than some other teams.
Either way I don't see us drafting a center with any of our first three picks. I would like two WRs with our first three picks which is why I prefer one small trade back from 27 to get an extra 3rd in the 90s.

Having 4 picks in the first 3 rounds would be spectacular...id prioritize 2WR and 2DE, tho there's plenty of IOL and safety talent in that range if the board doesnt shake out in our favor.
There's a few players if there at 27 I wouldn't mess around with trying to entertain trade offers, but the talent seems to get pretty flat around our pick so there's a high chance a trade back would be the most desirable outcome

Agree for the most part although one EDGE should suffice as there is an EDGE I really like that we might be able to get at 138 (Max Llewellyn). Compromise with a pass rushing DT instead?
1. Omar Cooper Jr WR
2. Gracen Halten DT
3. Malachi Lawrence EDGE
4. Brennan Thompson/Kevin Coleman Jr WR
If we stay put I think we are drafting Omar Cooper Jr with our first pick if he runs a good 40 to go with excellent tape.

I think you'd need to flip Halten and Lawrence but either way while it wouldn't be my favorite haul, I'd be pretty happy with it overall.
