OL 2026 draft class discussion

Is there a single plug and play OL in this draft? If so, who would make the most sense for us?

I see a lot of growing pains with this draft, so I don't see a plug and play guy that doesn't come with year one issues but I also don't know about every single available OL prospect out there. LG/C doesn't seem like a place where a rookie could just walk in and dominate but who knows.

So do you guys see us drafting a project type (later rounds) or a true plug and play OL guy today in round 1?

i disagree they are a few especially at OG and OC which is what we need

At OG these are for sure plug and play will not even need to compete
Ioane
Bisontis
Pregnon
Dunker
Parker
Zuhn

At OC
Hecht
Lew
Slaughter
Jones

Added one for you.
It looks like they could want to go guard with their first pick. Maybe they felt that the extra year in the first round isn't worth it for a guard if they can collect extra picks. There's a good chance that either Chase Bisontis and Emmanuel Pregnon will be available when they select near the start of the 2nd round.

Best guess considering who the Texans jumped up 2 spots to grab

This is who I want at the top of the 2nd. Whether that's with 33 or a small trade back, give me Pregnon. Immediately that OL is upgraded with him slotting into left guard. Imagine that? An improved OL.

Kyle Shanahan: "If you can't run on Seattle, you're cooked" (paraphrasing). He essentially said they'll stay in 2-shell all game and stop everything deep. Also, if you cannot block Murphy and Williams, they can jump all the short stuff. So yeah, if you can't block Seattle in any facet, they'll F you up. We saw it clearly.

It's probably pretty obvious why Ryans jumped up to take Rutledge. They needed OL just as bad as us.

Then get your pass rusher on the other 2nd, WR on the 3rd, S/OT/TE in the 4th..

i think getting a LG is a top priority but if we get a S first i think thats where better value is Sturkes/EMW would be my pick at 33

I disagree. I think you'd end up with a greater net positive taking LG first. Quality drops off a cliff while safety i have as the deepest position in the class

Hard for me to believe they will take a guard @ 33. I hope the pick is Pregon, but injust dont think they value guards that highly. . I really want Zion Young. We need a legit dog opposite Bosa. Crazy that we haven't paired Bosa up with any good speed rusher outside of the Dee Ford trade. And that was short lived
I have no doubt that teams accurately linked 49ers to Rutledge. The burning question in my mind is whether the niners viewed him as a guard or a center.

i do agree with your premise because S is deep but EMW is maybe the only prospect yet that should have a first round grade (outside Mccoy but thats due to injury) but they are still OG prospects still left on board that can come in and are NFL ready
1) Bisontis
2) Pregnon
3) Dunker
4) Zuhn
5) Parker

I think going EMW for example is just going BPA
