OL 2026 draft class discussion

Thorn is pretty low on this class overall. 3 OL with a 1st rd grade. IMO this draft class overall is pretty lack luster. 3 best guys are a S, RB and OLBer

I think some draft grades for guys end of the 1st and on day 2 aren't that different.

That won't prevent fans from complaining if the Niners don't get a good player to fill every need. The quality of the draft class has a lot to do with how successful your draft will be. Especially when you draft late in each round. Our fans want upgrades in the O line and WR. It seems OL isn't a strong position this year with only 3 getting a 1st round grade. That makes it unlikely the Niners pick O line in the first round since the 3 guys will probaly be gone when they pick.

We got a lot of the same folks who complain about taking OL and also complain about not going BPA lol. Overall the past couple drafts have been underwhelming as a whole.

Personally I would prefer they attack IOL via FA. I think Trent has a couple seasons left and his contract will be adjusted for that this offseason.

Not a bad plan. Those inside OL guys aren't as expensive as some other positions and having experience is plus.

DJ clearly only watched Bailey against weak tackles. He got whooped by all the top tackles in this class. Max and both Utah OT's.

I have a 2nd round guard feeling this year
Very weak OL class this is a good center class though but OT and OL is weak

I think the rankings are really going to blend together and there wont be a consensus for OL its all going o be about personal preference

i disagree, weak in terms of early 1st round talent but that wouldnt matter for the 49ers situation anyways. Late 1st to Late 3rd guard class is pretty deep, if they can't find a starting guard then its just time to hang them up, bring in a new front office, new scouts..etc.
Absolutely worth a late round flyer.

Man, redshirt World at or near UDFA prices? Sign me all the way up.

3rd or early 4th rd pick. Iowa ( the factory) could be a good LG in the zone scheme.
No one talking about Trey Zuhn out of Texas A&M, one of the most versatile OL in the draft who held up great against the best competition.
