Just screamed his way up the board and out of our range IMO. 4.37 40

i am a huge fan of him i thought he was worth the 27 pick i think he will still be there if we want to go S he is an athlethic freak and great in coverage too

Yeah. I already thought he was going before consensus because hes THE GUY to play big nickel if you want to copy Seattle's base scheme. But now hes crushed every measurable.
Welp Thieneman isn't making it to us

Good thing you don't think Safeties are worth first round picks then. Them non-essential position asses

If he makes it to 27 id have no hesitation in picking him. Would be a difference maker in our secondary

I think he goes between those, but you can always attempt to move back or move up. Preferably back. We need some dudes.

If we moved back to #40 and get 2-3 extra picks and Cooper Jr wasn't there and this dude was there I'd want him. Thing is Malachi Lawrence has prob moved up to mid-2nd round range now too so that would be a tough choice. Hope Cooper Jr runs a 4.37 like Thienaman to make this easier lol

Prob is we need a top WR in this draft badly.

If I know one thing it's Howie Roseman will take him

A first-round safety better have Early Thomas or Ed Reed talent, not Eric Reid.....

Always intrigued by Iowa kids, I haven't watched much of Xavier Nwankpa but I remember seeing him mocked high in last yrs mock. Any insight from you guys on him ?

I was in on him a few years ago when trying to project ahead a few years. Thoughts he'd be the next in line of the Darwin James archetype. He just never developed the instincts.
Thieneman was an absolute stud today. The safety position gets no love but he would absolutely change this defense. Will be interesting to see where he goes.

Maybe. Maybe not. We all know combine hypes guys up, then things settle down a bit. Only so many picks, needs, etc.

Safety is still an undervalued position I think so he could drop. If not then someone else who was likely to be gone before our pick may be there.

I'd rather have a DLman, WR or OL drop that we didn't expect to be there than a safety anyway. Great safety class so we can still add talent later.
Them safeties showed out. I think one of those top 3 safety will make it to 27 since safety isn't a premier position. I hope so anyway.

The Styles kid, is he any good? I never heard of him just his brother.
