Omar Cooper Jr-WR-Indiana

Might be the most 49ers/Shanahan like receiver in the draft. Toughness, hands, YAC and outstanding run blocking ability. He's someone that in the right offense looks to be a much better pro than college player and he was a pretty good college receiver. I can see him progressing into a high level #2 WR that will remain a nightmare in the open field for NFL defenses.

I watched this guy a little bit the other day. He definitely fits the 49er mold.

I like this guy. He'd probably put up huge numbers if it weren't for the balanced attack Indiana had.
Is he "the next Deebo?"
PFF has him available with our second round pick. I doubt that's the case on the eve of the draft.

You know Kyle will be in love. I like both Indiana receivers. Did a mock on the PFF generator the other day and ended up with 4 Indiana guys without even realizing it.

They dont have freakish talent but they have guys that are just smart and determined as hell to succeed. I would love Cooper, Smith and Nowakowski on this team.
Kyle will absolutley love this kid. Would not shock me if this guy is our pick……even our first pick….for better or for worse. Kids a baller though for sure

Sheesh, that comp, tho. That's not a bad comp at all. BA had that exact same concerns coming out about physicality at the catch point/catching in traffic.

I was going to say that Omar Cooper reminds me of Robert Woods, but then I remember I thought the same about Brandon Aiyuk coming out.

He looks like a Kyle receiver. He's always seemed to me like a guy who would be a much better NFL player than he was a college player.
