Will the 49ers finally address the offensive line?

Kyle Shanahan and Chris Foerster have said repeatedly that they will draft prospects who score TD's always before they will address the offensive line. John Lynch hasn't done anything to overrule these two either. Brendel is horrible, father time is finally catching up with Trent, and the LG spot is being filled by the least injured option at any time. That conceit is finally catching up with the team and it's hampering the team's performance. Do you think that in this upcoming draft, which is LOADED with OL options, they will finally address the offensive line?

O line is only hampering the run game performance. Pass game has been solid considering the injuries.

If there is a top guy there at their first pick at tackle I expect them to take him. Won't be taking a corner since they really hate taking db's early so that is the position that makes the most sense. All will be determined by who is available however.

Get Erik McCoy out of New Orleans

They don't find that to be important. So no they won't. The Eagles and Lions are stacked with offensive line. Including young, healthy players and some who are high draft picks. Expect another DE as they love defensive line and ignore offensive line. With Bosa down it will be another pass rusher in the 1st round. Which I actually understand. But yet another year where we ignore the offensive line. You can bet on it. They just don't value it.

Now that's a good idea.
when shanny is no longer the head coach

Lynch has said they had an OL high on the need list but when their pick came up, either their top OL was gone or the value they placed on a certain player was not commensurate with the player'e evaluation. IIRC, they had Roger Rosengarten next on the board but Baltimore took him just before their pick. He has turned out to be a solid starter - better for PP than run blocking.

Yeah that's when it will happen. He thinks a patchwork offensive line is great. Just doesn't value it at all.

He says that every single year. It's now year 9. Almost a decade. At some point regardless of lip service they just don't value offensive line. No way to do this 9 years in a row if they actually value it.

Used a first and high 2nd on OL. Never have done that on secondary.

We picked Mc_FLINCHEY and he was ok and is gone. We picked Aaron Banks and he was pretty good and underrated on the WZ and also gone. You are always hyped about the secondary. But it's good. Minus our pass rush it's not going to look as good now.

Lenoir - Great
Green - Good
Stout - Good future
Sigle - Good future
Mustapha - Will come back healthy and was a good player

This is not under any circumstances a bad secondary. Probably better than average. Would be excellent with Bosa. It's not the horror show of the offensive line.

You do talk rubbish sometimes.

Green has been burned quite a few times this year. Jury is still out. Jury is out on Sigle. Mustapha needs to show a lot of improvement in coverage.

Green is a fantastic player. His deal will be huge when he hits FA. You will see. Sigle looks good for a rookie. The problems are over blown. Mustapaha's problem is staying healthy. But this is a long way from a bad secondary.

The offensive line on the other hand.....

Green has not been fantastic. That is delusional.

He's a very good player and compliment to Lenoir. Not every team has stars across the board. Most teams would be happy to have our secondary. It's missing Bosa who provides the pass rush. With him we have lots of stars. Without him they will struggle more. Still better than most teams. I would take the Ravens secondary above us. Especially their Safety's. But I can't think of many other teams. We are above average there and you are way overly nit picky on the secondary. Compared to our disaster at offensive line.
