Anything more than a 2027 3rd is too much to trade.

But on the board at 20 and we should start making calls for sure.

Yup, happy for him but sad for us, unless the office is in love and trades up

What? An arguably better version of Vernon Davis falling to 27? Zero chance.

The "we won't need this position in round 1" is the type of mindset that got us behind Seattle.

We need good players because our roster is full of mid-tier guys but lacks the elite talent that Seattle has.

If Sadiq is available at 27 we should get him. Heck if he is available around 20 we should trade-up for him. Last year I wanted Tyler Warren and that would have been a good pick even with Kittle on the team.

Stop drafting for need in round 1.

lol you two sure it wasn't the lack of stock the 9ers put into the O-line? How about the misses on the middle of the D-line they've had over the years? How about the two disgruntled WR's they spent 1st and 2nd round picks on? I'm not gonna even mention that huge miss on Trey Lance that practically made the 9ers sit out of the 2022 draft. Thank goodness for Brock Purdy.
Noway he's going to be there at 27 now. Not even in the early 20's. Best combine day ever for a TE basically and he also killed the interviews as well. He's Vernon Davis 2.0

I don't see that.

If he somehow falls to 20 we should trade a 2027 3rd and 6th to move up and pick him. But thinking he's a top 15 pick at worst now.

Ideally the best scenario is tot trade back not up from #27. Ex. trade back to 33 with NYJ for their 103, 178, and a 2027 6th.

Then pick any one of Boston, Cooper Jr, Iheanachor, McDonald, Hunter, Lawrence, Mesidor, Pregnon, or Haulcy.

i dont think hes worth a trade up for i do have concerns he is a bit of a workout warrior it isnt like hes ever had a dominant season playing and dont get me wrong he has the capability to be an elite TE but we have other holes that are way more glaring than TE like WR, DL depth, S, LG, and maybe CB
He was never falling to 27. I don't think anyone said he would. Only mocks have done that. But posters on here wanted a trade up. Still could be possible if he can get to 15. But if it doesn't happen, we still have lots of capital to make sone moves- provided (and I know Im asking for a lot) that we aren't taking guys who will barely play or guys that are reaches.
There may be teams that have bigger needs than a TE so he could fall to 27. Not likely but you never know what other teams are going to do. They might be going after one of the premium edge guys or WRs. Sadiq would be a nice fit because with his speed he could fill the need for a deep threat.

I'm sure it's both. Kinlaw over Wirfs speaks volumes on how much they value OL. Don't get me wrong, the Trey f**king Lance debacle is the reason they don't have at least 7 Lombardis now and you'll never convince me otherwise.
