Another year, another time to dream big and ultimately be disappointed. Use this thread for all general discussion regarding draft eligible players for the 2026 NFL Draft. Who are some early players that seem like prototype 49ers? Ill start: Avieon Terrell, CB | Clemson Speaking of Clemson, man their defense is absolutely STACKED this year.

Just draft football players is all I ask. Drafting players that only fit the scheme and are nice guys has them behind the Rams and Seattle.

Im not good about evaluating edge rushers but I'd rather we get back to accumulating picks instead of using them to trade.

You still want to draft scheme fit players, end of the day that's why you have a system. The issue is we need to better understand general consensus and not reach for system fits when those guys could be had a round or two later.

Also drafting BPA at this point is likely to net us better results as well. We can throw a dart at our depth chart and hit a position of need.

That's where I am. At this point I'm less particular about position, they just need guys that are going to make an impact.
