Yup I'd do that. Our first for BT jr and their 3rd

would you give up our 1st? Second yes. 1st is too rich for me.

They better send back pick 56 with BTJ.

edit - s**t, I forgot BTJ is only going into his 3rd year. I'll take pick 81.

49er fans would riot if we took Faulk over Loane

Considering all the recent mocks having us take Lomu I think I might celebrate heavily if we took Faulk lol

Yes another Edge setter that can't rush the passer is cause for celebration

Better than Lomu lol

This is like the anyone but Mac draft with our first pick. Anyone but Lomu (or Miller). Iheanachor or Proctor are the only OTs I can stomach after resigning Trent.

Faulk i dont expect to be there

I mean Williams and Faulk are both extremelly young but have the NFL body and power ready it sa question of do you beleive they can get some pass rush moves out of them because they will be in there second contract earlier before some players entering there rookie season.

why are people ok with drafting an OT to sit on the bench for 1 to 2 years but not ok with a player who can play and contribute immediately but need some coaching/time before becoming a player that can reach there upside?

It isnt like players like this will sit on the bench

Add Persall (Florida) and get their second ?

Last year, all the talk at our pick were Walter Nolen, Mike Green etc. I don't think Mykel Williams was really ever talked about as much. Same thing the year before with Pearsall. This year I wouldn't be surprised if it's Pregnon, Bisontis, Rutledge is the pick. Almost there fellas!

Its a copy cat league. They saw how much Grey Zabel improved the Seahawks last year.

They aren't quite the same caliber player, but Pregnon and Bisontis are immediate plug and play starters at the most glaring hole on our offense.

I personally have Rutledge at center.

Lol, no dude. The idea is to get better.

Id trade 27 and Aiyuk for 56 and BTJ. They can take it or leave it. And even then, it wouldn't be a priority move for me, and completely dependent on how the board fell to that point.

The Rutledge C part I read on athletic sold me. Also read they have Bisontis as a future center

100% agree. I LOVED Zabel last year. I'd be completely fine with Pregnon, Bisontis or even Rutledge as the pick for the reason you stated.
Personally I wouldn't do it because I do think there will be better players on board and I'd rather take a stab at guard with one of the fourths, but I'd be fine with it.

How do we get worse, Persal isn't going to see the field that much if we get BTJ and we get another 2nd rounder and possibly an extra 3rd

lol I remember Larry Krueg hating on Grey Zabel before the draft. I knew that kid was gonna be good. I like Bisontis and think he can be on par with Zabel.

I like that trade too!!! I keep forgetting Aiyuk can be dealt. But I thought the 9ers can't do anything with Aiyuk until after June?

agree id rather not trade Persall and BTJ last year was not good at all it was actually pretty horrific and not due to injury like Persall. Persall was looking like a top 5 WR early last year before the knee injury his stats were on par with JSN and Pucca i rememebr all the post where all 3 were listed in receiving stats.

Also im sure we can find a way to have Evans Persall and BTJ on the field if it comes to it
Put me down for a couple trades back.
#1 This draft is good in the middle.
#2 Lynch cooks in middle rounds.
#3 I don't want the temptation to think future LT that will be forced into LG this year and struggle.

Can't wait, this is the most important draft in a long time, lets go boys.
