Would be who I'd be excited to draft otherwise I'd kinda want us to trade down
Take Starks out and I'm on board. Those 3 or deal down.

Curious why not Starks? It's not as big of a hole as other positions but he looks like a good cover safety which we've been missing since Ward and we are going in with Brown and a bunch of ?s. Secondary looks like it has a lot of potential add the top Safety I actually like what I'm seeing on the back end

He had a very poor showing at the combine. His RAS was like 5. I wouldn't draft him at #11 either. I love the other 3 you have listed but I would add Jalon Walker to that as well.

Not saying Starks is the next Earl Thomas but RAS isn't always a great way to evaluate players

Earl Thomas got hurt at the combine and that 40 time is inaccurate. If he had stood on the 4.49 he wouldn't have gone Top 15.

Agree with this. Especially cuz I like Jihaad Campbell a lot lol

I like him as well but he tore his labrum at the combine and needed surgery.
I've solidified my favourite for 1.11

Derrick Harmon. Followed closely by Jahdea Barron. But the pick has to be DLine IMO.

Sources Tell Us

"He plays like a Raven or a Steeler. Off the tape, he reminds me of a young Cam Heyward but bigger." -- NFC executive

"The lightbulb didn't just come on – it exploded. Beyond the counting stats, Harmon's 39 quarterback hurries tell the story of a defender who lived in opposing backfields. His combination of first-step quickness and raw power had offensive coordinators adjusting protection schemes and quarterbacks seeing ghosts."

"What makes Harmon's emergence even more impressive is how he dominated despite facing constant double teams in the run game. The Detroit native proved equally adept at penetrating gaps as a pass rusher and anchoring against combo blocks, showcasing the scheme versatility pro teams covet. His performance against Ohio State in the College Football Playoff semifinal – consistently winning one-on-one matchups against future NFL linemen – solidified his status as a top-50 prospect."

"The film shows Harmon thriving as a 3-technique in an attacking front where he can fire off the ball and use his explosive first step. When teams tried running zone schemes his way, he frequently disrupted the mesh point by getting vertical, though his occasional over-aggression led to some cutback lanes. The Browns, Ravens, and Jets – teams that emphasize penetrating interior defenders while having the defensive structure to cover for some rawness – would maximize his strengths early while developing his consistency. His snap-to-snap intensity still wavers at times, but the flashes are impossible to ignore."

Love all those guys. But I will say:

1. Mason Graham
2. Jalon Walker
3. Walter Nolen
4. Will Campbell
5. Armand Membou
6. Trade down

I love the DTs but I feel like you can get a quality one in R2-R3 given the significant depth this year.

Jalon Walker to me, although he's a tweener, is just a menace on the field. It almost doesn't matter how you use him, he will be an impact player.

This. The type of guy you don't pass on if he's there, regardless of all the holes on your team.

They said the same thing about Solomon Thomas too. No matter where we would put Thomas on the line he was going to dominate. It took him 3+ years just to become a decent role player. Walker oozes potential but we he's too much of an unknown for me to take at #11 when we need someone who can contribute day 1.

I agree, to a point - and 'tweeners usually worry me. Typically they are undersized and getting by on superior athletic ability - something where the gap closes drastically in the pros. And I see that in Walker. He seems to lack some instincts in space, so not a great outside LB. And he doesn't seem to have a wide array of pass rush moves. Doesn't have the size/length to hold up as an every down DE. So really looks limited to being a 3rd down pass rusher. I will say I think the comparison to Solomon Thomas is unfair, though. Honestly, I NEVER knew what people saw in Thomas. I had a 3rd ROUND grade on him. I saw a player that was not fast enough to rush from the outside, and who didn't have the size/strength to hold up on the inside. He had no elite, or even outstanding traits - where Walker does have elite speed off the edge.
Sitting here the other day and I was thinking about JL's tendencies and he only seems to trade down 1 spot when he trades down. I went through the past few drafts and Dallas aren't ones to move up much. So for those of us who think trading down is the route to take, history shows up that isn't likely to happen.

That said, my choices at #11(or 12) is...

Will Johnson
Ashton Jeanty
Armand Membou
Jahdae Barron

Would be ok with
Walter Nolen
Derrick Harmon
Jihad Campbell
Tyler Booker

I really hope Jeanty is available at 11 so a team will trade up for him. In no way should we take him there given all our needs.

I seriously doubt Graham will be there for us so my hopes are:
Armand Membou
Will Campbell
Kelvin Banks
Will Johnson
Derrick Harmon

I just hope we address the OL in rd 1 and then hammer the defensive lines and secondary in rds 2 -4. I think, however, that Harmon or another d lineman will be the pick.

The only one I would not be ok with, in the slightest, is Booker.

Maybe his tape translates to being in a phone booth in a power running scheme but that combine was atrocious. RAS under 4. In outside zone he'll still be at the LOS when the play is over and a traffic cone against any stunts.

Man I still can't believe Thomas was a bust. I legit thought we had a plug and play stud in him.

I still wonder if the tragedy with his sister didn't happen if he'd turn out better than just a rotational piece but man…what a let down.

I do agree, no more tweeners early on in the draft.

You might be able to get Donavan Jackson at 43 who I think is better than Booker.
