Jared Casey-FB-Kansas

More of a receiving threat at fullback, Casey came on later in his college career. He started out on defense before transitioning to offense and was moved around a lot. Nice size for the position at 6'0", 235, capable of playing in the backfield, being used as an H-back, TE or even lining up out wide. Really ferocious hard-nosed blocker that especially gets after it in the run game. Could be worth a look late in the draft.

I knew you'd be all over it Phoenix! Good stuff as always every draft season
Need to see the tape of the blocking but seems like a worthy UDFA candidate. May be planning to use more 2 TE sets this year, but we obviously know FB can be utilized and worth rostering. Couple initial tests he is going to pass for KS. Small high school but was valedictorian and then makes First Team All Academic in the Big 12 three years in a row. Makes CSC Academic Second Team All-America as a senior. Played RB in high school so has some running chops. Looks adept in the pass game on tape and stats at Kansas. So sure, I'd be giving him a call after the draft.
