He was never on my radar until you or whoever posted it in another thread a week or so ago.

Definitely intrigued by him

No problem. He's a very interesting prospect. Was a 5 star recruit coming out of high school. Has really good mechanics, really good intermediate accuracy, fast release and throws a lot of small window passes. Tell me that's not the definition of a Kyle QB.

Smaller hands than purdy

Even better. Will struggle in bad weather. Kyle won't be able to resist

Lmaooooo

this film breakdown really has me hoping we snag this kid. He 100% would work in our offense and it would be nice to have a back up locked down for a few years and a future trade prospect.

Buckeye fan here. Watched every buckeyes start he had. All I can say is god NO. Haven't watched a game of his after he transfered though.

I know nothing about him but couldn't this be said for any QB?

There's a belief that if his 2023 film didn't exist he'd be a 1st round pick.

So, what's the consensus on when he will go? I can't see us going qb before 3 or more likely 4th round.

From what I've seen he's anywhere between 3rd to 6th round picks. It will just depend on what tape teams watch and if they like the tools he possesses. Just watching his film he does have a lot of throws we have in this offense. I doubt we take him unless he were to fall to that 5-6th range as this team needs starters and depth at positions more than a 2nd/3rd string QB. I think he's an interesting player who if he has a longer career as a back up than Shedeur has in the NFL I won't be surprised.
