Combine says was 6-1 211lbs. Solid for a S. Yeah I remember you being a big Cisco guy.

for me I'd rather go in another direction at 11 than S

Same. But it's before Free Agency we always fill immediate holes in FA to open up the ability to take BPA but if we go into the draft with Brown as a starter then I think that would be a giant sign Starks is our target.

Yup. We've been doing it every year with this regime. We have a starter in place at almost every position and no glaring holes by the time the draft roles around

which is why I expect us to sign a CB, S, DT, LB and guard in free agency.

And I don't expect them to spend a lot of money to fill those "holes" possibly one legit signing the rest will be 2nd/3rd tier signings imo.

Well it's pretty obvious Kyle thinks veterans are typically better than a 1st year player.

Just because you are big and fast at Safety doesn't mean you are the best one. Just because you are an athletic freak. See Taylor Mays. Starks is still the best one.

Agreed. I think Starks will be a great player for a long time.

Because they usually are

I still think we are going to be players in free agency. This regime has always filled all the roster holes before the drafts. And with loads of cap space, the SB in our stadium, a very weak schedule and some players coming back from injury I don't think there's any way we stand pat in free agency.

Center- Dalman has history here and would be a huge upgrade over Brendel.

Edge- Dayo Odeyingbo is a problem on the edge. At 6'6, 290 and good movement skills he can play the Armstead role. Set the edge in base D and then kick inside on passing downs.

Defensive tackle- If Calais Campbell wants to play another year bring him in. He was dominant last year. There has been no indication he will retire.

LB- If Greenlaw leaves LB Shaq Thompson is a fit. This draft is deep with linebackers but we could use a vet for a year beside Warner. Thompson is coming off a knee injury but was still having a great year. If healthy he should come cheap and fill a need. Jamien Sherwood is a perfect fit too but I don't think he comes cheap.

TE- There are a bunch of TE's who are available too. Tommy Tremble would be a great signing. We missed having a legit blocking TE last year and

Secondary- (FS and CB) Go get Andre Sisco and Paulson Adebo for the secondary and we are set

Guard- Re-sign Bartch to compete with Burford and Zakelj at LG and then draft a rookie.

Restructure Warner and Kittle

Release
WR- Deebo Samuel
DT- Javon Hargrave
DE- Yetur Gross Matos
DT- Jordan Elliot
C- Jake Brendel

Resign
G- Ben Bartch
CB- Isaac Yiadom
WR- Chris Conley

Free agent signings
DE- Dayo Odeyingbo (5 years, 66 mil. I void year)
C- Drew Dalman (5 years, 48 mil. 1 void year)
CB- Paulson Adebo (3 years, 40 mil)
FS- Andre Cisco (3 years, 21 mil)
TE- Tommy Tremble (3 years, 12 mil)
LB- Shaq Thompson (1 year, 5 mil)
DT- Calais Campbell (1 year, 4.5 mil)

Yeah I am currently hung up. I think it may be him or Johnson available. They are both awesome, but the draft is deep at safety. Does Saleh scheme allow a guy like Starks to shine?

I recommend looking at Mukuba, Winston jr or bowman jr at safety.
