I wanted to like Wyatt. I thought I liked Wyatt but watching him vs Penn st. I don't know. He looked OK on pass sets but anything he had to block on the move it didn't look good IMO.

Conerly moving up the boards. Don't shoot me but I get the feeling he'll be the pick at 11. I've now seen many mock drafts with Conerly in the top 15. Niners could probably move back 5-7 picks and still get him but we all know the Niners rarely move back and will over draft more often then not. That said, I like him a lot.

He is as good a system fit as any tackle I've seen in the past few years. I thought Rashawn Slater would be amazing in the 49ers offense and Conerly in many ways is his doppelganger.

I disagree. I think people are still stuck on past evaluations of him when he'd be a 1st round talent in any draft class, including last year. A lot of people had him chalked up as nothing more than a mid rounder entering the season and don't want to move off of that.

This is a guy that transitioned to OL late from RB and has simply gotten better every season. The athleticism and physical skills are all there, it just comes down to how good teams feel about his mindset and his continued ascension.

I hate this when guys start moving up the dradt board. Teams start seeing more talent than is there just because they have a need. The consensus is that the best talent is in the D line this year. The 49ers need both O and D line so take the D if he's there at #11. The O line talent in round 2 may be just as good as round one since nobody is a real standout this year. The Niners will be picking early in round 2 and might be able to move up to the top of round 2 with a trade.

When it comes down to it you want an impact player at a critical position with a top 12 pick.

However we know just cuz you're picking high nothing is guaranteed so as long as they nail the pick and get themselves a great starter for 10+ years I'm down, even if that spot ends up being at LG.

Obviously if possible I'd rather hit on that type of stud player at DL or OT but key thing is getting a stud.

Still lots of time for guys to climb/fall. Will be interesting to see how these rankings shake out.
