Cam Skattebo-RB-ASU

Someone like that yes. I like Henderson a ton of this team as well. I would love if Kyle chilled on RB unless someone just drops

I said previously I like Jeanty and Hampton, but unless Kyle thinks one is truly incredible, they are better off waiting until the latest rounds of udfa. My guess is udfa. CMC and Gurrendo are an ice 1-2 imo.
I'm not seeing the hype, dude looks clunky and kinda slow. Good at the point of contact and balance is all I see

Contact balance and lateral movement skills are two of the three most important traits and RB can have alongside vision. Cam has the first two in spades. He's slow over 40-60 yards, but quick up to 10 yards. He has nearly everything you need, but falls down in some areas NFL teams value, which coupled with a great RB class should have him falling to a range that he's really valuable.

I almost hope we don't get him, he belongs as a Montgomery to someone's Gibbs, not as a pure backup like he'll be here.

Didn't really look like he had great lateral movement either, nor agility. Think he'd be a good power back he gets upfield not afraid of contact but I wouldn't want him with a high pick

Each to their own, but I really liked the lateral movement, easily slides into different gaps based on what's been blocked for him. I think he sometimes makes the wrong read though, which is why I didn't include vision as one of his elite traits. To be fair it does sometimes seem that he thinks he'll just run into someone, his lineman or there's and then bounce off into a different gap.

If we didn't have CMC for whatever reason I think he'd make a great compliment to Guerendo. I just can't see us being higher on him than a team that needs that. I'd draft him in the 4th for us but think he's worth a low 2nd to a team needing a complimentary power back like the Bears, Jags or Giants.
The question is.... is he Mike Altstott or Ron Dayne? Great college player that doesn't translate or Hall of fame?

That's plenty fast enough even if unofficial. Kid ticks a lot of boxes. If the plan was truly to compliment CMC and try to prolong his career I'd be very interested.

How do you feel about Guerendo? We do need another RB but taking one in a high round doesn't seem smart given how many holes we have, not that I would put it past Shannahan.

Guerendo couldn't even make it through a full season even on limited reps. And have to plan for life without CMC. Even with CMC you need a guy who can do the brute force close out the game type things. Except this guy is a house call waiting to happen at any moment. And he excels at special teams.

He did pretty good as a spell back when cmc was healthy, but the 3 games he started was abysmal granted more than half of our starting offense was injured. Think he can hold down the rb2, idk I don't want a rb in a high round especially with the plethora of failures we've had between 2nd-3rd round picks

I just love the player. If I had any other position with anywhere near the grade I'd take them, but I still think he might fall to the 3rd and he's a steal there.

Sorry Guerendo, he has talent but I think he's better suited as a 3rd guy, change of pace, ST rather than any sort of workhorse role, which he's just an injury away from currently.

If they miss out on Tyler Warren they may go for Skattebo a little later in the draft. Different positions obviously but the exact same vibes. Physical. Closer. Tone setter. Tough yards. Explosive plays.
