The Mason Graham-DT-Michigan The Dream is Dead!

Looks like he hasn't bewn weight training. He didn't look very big in the shoulders when they were inteviewing him. Maybe he wanted to shed weight to run a better 40 time. His highlight reel looks great but at 296 he's not the monster we're looking for in the middle. Lot's of big bodies in this draft.
Would you turn away Aaron donald due to your logic ?

So your saying Graham is the next Donald? I'd lean more to Walter Nolan, but we won't get either of them. OT with #11

i'm saying would you turn AD down due to his combine measurables...

If you do, then you will miss out on some dawgs

No I wouldn't, which is why I think for the top guys the combine is almost a waste. Game film should be the true measurable

Have you seen Aaron Donald without a shirt? Dude could be a professional body builder. He benches 550 too. He's one of the strongest DT's to ever play the game.

If Mason Graham has that strength then who cares about how big he is.

I'll be shocked if they go OT at #11

So will I because that's who they should get, there are plenty of good DL that will be available in later rounds, its probably the deepest position in this years draft. #11 should be OT campbell from LSU or Banks from Texas

Donald had to train hard to get that way.. Mason got that country strength

the only difference between them in combine measurables is Donald weighed 10 lbs lighter

Offense line we can get in FA, lets get Defensive game changers in the draft

I'm not I'm favor of forcing an oline pick either,Campbell won't be there and I'm not sold on Banks.

This is not the time to go O-line, especially when the 9ers are in win-now mode.

We can't rely on FA with a big need at OT, I'm guessing this will be Trent's last year. You want an older FA to takeover? I don't, we need the OT of the future at #11.

49ers don't have a big need at Tackle. They trust McKivitz and Trent. Center is the big need and they can get one on March 12th.

While I agree we need to be preparing for Trents departure I don't think there's an OT in this draft worth the 11th pick.

Well if we must go elsewhere other than OT, Walter Nolan is my pick
