More so than Jalon Walker? Which one is a better fit in your opinion?

Walker is an edge rusher who can play little bit in coverage. Campbell is more of a transitional off ball LBer that can rush the passer a little bit.

Neither are worth a top 11 pick imo

Many people feel most of this years draft isn't worth a 1st round grade but it is what it is. Teams can only pick what's available. The difference between the 1st nand 2nd rounders this year is very little if any.

I like Jihaad Campbell but no way in hell am I drafting an off ball linebacker in the first round. We found Warner, Greenlaw, and Al Shaair later in the draft. We are pretty decent and drafting linebackers later on.
I guess the consensus now is Will Campbell is an OG? Its wild to me that the right tackle from Missouri has arms 7/8 longer arms and is considered a legit LT or RT but W Campbell is not. Dude played his entire career at left tackle and people would still take Membou and move him to LT over Campbell.

7 / 8s arm length difference!!! Not even 1 inch.

I'm not hating on Membou, dude looks to be a monster but the arm length difference is wild to me.

I would like to see the Niners try to trade up and get another 1st rounder. It would give them the chance to get a tackle and draft Campbell or a good interior D lineman.

I thought about that too, but there's so many good prospects that could fall to the 9ers at #43. If anything I'd like to see them trade up wherever in the draft and select Cam Skattebo.

Im against trading up anywhere before the 5th. That said, Skattebo screams Lynch/9ers

49ers are bound to have a really great draft if they don't get cute like they did with selecting Ricky Pearsall. Don't get me wrong, I think Pearsall is gonna be really good for the 9ers, but how good would it have been if they selected Zach Frasier or Roger Rosengarten!!!

Who knows. How good would Pearsall have been if he hadn't been shot and had a full training camp?

Kyle likes fast RBs. That's not exactly Skattebo. This draft is chock full of good RBs, one of the deepest RB draft classes in a while. Moving up for one would be unnecessary but on par with Kyle.

Campbell...if the team is looking to replace Greenlaw. Let's examine a little bit..

Greenlaw might walk
Fred is getting older
Saleh reportedly wants more speed and violence
Campbell reportedly going high 1st round based on combine chatter amongst teams/scouts

Fred is 28 lol. How about we let Saleh find LBers that fit the scheme? He's done that here and in NJ….They don't need to overdraft one just because.

I agree that he's a possibility. He's a near Warner clone as far as size and playing style but he's a little faster. If Greenlaw was signed and healthy I wouldn't consider it but it's very possible that he could leave. This defense needs good LBs to play well. We saw how much it suffered last season without Greenlaw and how much better they looked for the short time he returned. Wide 9 means wide gaps. Those gaps need to be filled by quick LBs.

Theres plenty of LBers that are near the same size as Warner and just as fast. That's not what makes him special.

drafting Campbell at 11 would be super underwhelming. I don't even view him as some elite level LB prospect.

I got a feeling Jamien Sherwood is gonna be a 49er.

I mean I think Green is on the same par as Rosegarten. That's a wash for me.

Hindsight is great but there wasn't one guy in here that wanted Rosengarten with the 31st pick last year. But I am always for building the lines which is why I want Campbell, Membou, or Banks if Graham is gone. A trade down would also be fine. I just don't want a wr, lb, rb, s, or te with the 11th pick.

That makes sense. No clue if he gets paid more or less than greenlaw.

There's some solid young LB draft prospects worth taking on day 2/3. let Saleh cook and get some good LBers in here without investing a top 11 pick on one.
