I want more alpha dawgs. Barron is that guy.
I think he's a pretty safe prospect too. Nickle corner, box safety, deep safety, Good ball skills. Versatile. Solid tackler.

Their MO seems to be to identify a hole and fill it with a starter. Last year was an outlier of sorts. They took Pearsall because it didn't look like BA was coming back.
So using their MO and looking at our roster as currently constructed I believe, DT, FS, CB & OG will be the pick and I'm willing to bet OG will be a day 2 pick. FWIW, I also think McKivitz gets extended which wouldn't be a bad thing. In which case it would lessen the likelihood of them drafting an OT to play OG. IMO.
I think we are looking at a day 3 OT. I don't see them using a 1st on an OT until they have a glaring hole in the starting lineup

He didn't win the Thorpe award for potential or traits

It's so true, and as one of those saps who keeps getting crushed on draft day all I can do is hope.
If the Niners can upgrade the center position, I think they're OK for oline starters. However, they are THIN at OT depth.

Yep. I think so too. But I'd add LB as a huge need too.
Nice post btw.

I see a mid tier signing (Robert Hainsey) and day 3 pick at center. But if Dalman does reach free agency I wouldn't be surprised to see them be aggressive to get him.

Man I thought Wilson ran really well at the combine. Only started one yr at UA but I wouldn't hate the idea of grabbing him with one of those comp 3rds. Don't hate Majors late either.

Wilson was my favorite towards end of the season. With Majors as my runner up as well.
Wouldn't mind Drew Kendall. Seth McLaughlin intrigues me but his profile about snap location scares me

Good take but you can also make the case that last years draft going the way it did and being one of our best hauls by the looks of it should encourage them to stick with the BPA type method.
Personally I think Membou would be able to push McKivitz to the bench(maybe a trade option) similar to how McGlinchey pushed out Trent Brown.
Tho I can also see them going with the other spots you mentioned. I think when we address WR will be impacted by whether or not Aiyuk is on the roster. I'd hate to draft WR early a year after taking one in round 1 and 4 but it may be the best way to fill Aiyuk's shoes if he's moved.

Especially this offseason when we already have enough positions needing replaced.
