College football teams can dress 85 players on game days.
In those "cupcake" portions I'd be surprised if Mason Graham played even a 1/4 of the snaps. And considering the games are won by about 50 points and the defense is on the field for about 30 snaps vs those teams it's no surprise they don't have eye popping stats.
Michigan, like Georgia, rotates in tonnes of players. That's why you don't see Mykel Williams (or Travon Walker) put up big stats.
That's why sometimes you draft for traits. Or combine numbers and not stats. For example Shemar Stewart.
