This is one of the worst draft day stories in history, a smart team are going to take him and announce they have no plans to play him, but that you never know how many QB's you'll need and we can trade him for more later.

Eagles literally said that about Hurts who they picked with a 2nd rounder when Wentz looked like a Franchise QB, How'd that end up working out for them?!

If he was on our practice squad in Purdys rookie year we win the Superbowl. The league has gone mad.

This is like the Kap situation where the teams are more afraid of the noise than helping their football team, but at least you knew Kap couldn't win you a Superbowl, this kid could in the right situation.

Once the league decided they dont want him as the face of a franchise, it put him in a bad situation of his own making now. Who wants a vocal backup QB who's camp will likely start a campaign for him to takeover if the starter struggles. No coach wants their hand forced by outside factors.

As much as I questioned what the hell pundits were looking at when talking about him as a top 10 pick... he is better than some of those taken and all the remaining QBs even with his bad habits. He is in the discussion of having the most accurate arm in the class, it just comes with bad habits and promotional drama.

Without the baggage he'd probably be a 2nd or 3rd round talent in this weak QB draft, but now guessing he will land with the cowboys in the 5th or 6th so Jerry Jones has the cowboys in everyone's mouth all offseason while doing a solid for Deion.

Nooooooooo, David Walker. Hurts almost as much as Belton and Alexander

Steelers just got a good player in Sawyer.

Who do you like for the second 4th? I liked Sawyer a lot as well. I'm hoping for Mbow next.

Mbow is my pick. Been a bit snakebite the last few 49ers picks with guys going right before my pick. Mbow good Senior Bowl week and versatility at G and RT.

I like Slater as well as a center prospect. Like to see him on the board in the fifth

Give me Will Howard at 147.

We can pretty much pencil in Jalin Conyers at 160
