Tykee Smith is not even getting late round consideration with his foot/knee issues

I agree. There are a lot of intriguing safeties in the draft. According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Ji'Ayir Brown is projected in the 4th Round and Jay Ward is projected in the 5th Round. Both are favorites of mine. They check all the boxes as ball hawking free safeties.

Definitely want to address Secondary and Oline in this draft. Everything else I think will be ok as long as we can resign our current guys that we want to keep.

I've got to go with O-Line. MM is not the answer.

Don't disagree with you at all about MM, but Niners have plenty of options like J. Moore, Burford, Brunskill and McKivitz who could step in for McFlinchey right now. If Ward or Gipson go elsewhere, I don't see anyone else besides maybe Qwuantrezz Knight on the PS to take over. I think both positions of need can be addressed this offseason with the picks they got.

JL Skinner will probably be gone but what an enforcer.

He appears to be the best late day 2 prospect available at FS. I would be very happy to see him in Red and Gold next year.

My favorite of the bunch and yeah I would try to trade up for him if he somehow falls within reach on day two. Doubt it though

We will likely have three 3rd round comp picks this year (assuming Ryans gets hired). All within the same range.
OL, S, and CB/DL would be my hit list for those picks.

Most of the mocks I've seen have us down for two third round comp picks with the possibility of the third if DeMeco gets a head coaching job. Don't forget that other teams have been approaching the Niners about hiring Ran Carthon, Director of Player Personnel, as a GM. If that comes to pass, the Niners may have four comp picks in the third. Wouldn't that be amazing.

And we should think of these 3rd round comp picks as 4th rounders, they are barely in the top 100
