My guess this is the covid impact. Probably not a lot of string evaluations on their list and going to go the udfa route for wr (most options available), te (not much depth this year), de (a lot of question marks) and lb (weak class).

Another RB? Who's gonna get cut/traded? Wow RB competition is going to be insane this year. I agree this pick is a head scratcher. IMO this has been the best draft we have had under Lynch, but this pick might be my least favorite (not because of the player, but because we have so many RBs).

In the 6th round you're just tossing darts at the board, may as well get a guy that fits what you do really well. If he can't go at RB, he'll go on ST.
