IM HERE... I still think he'll be a FS .... Just like LOTT was in his early days, his athleticism allowed him to play the CB position but ended up being a FS..

I was thinking the niners would probably trade back a couple spots then draft a edge pass rusher because that's what Kyle and lynch believe in building through the trenches and adding to your strength but now I'm thinking they might go cb Jaycee horn or Patrick surtain then add a edge pass rusher in the 2nd rd but we will see come draft night

I've posted in the Surtain thread that drafting a CB that high you want either a WR taken away, or the ball. I think Horn has a chance to do those things, his tendency to grab scares me though.

I'm sure you could coach it out of him (make him practice in mittens) but would he still be effective without doing it?

I don't know as scheme and situation matter so much for CB's.

I think Surtain is probably a bit more scheme diverse and has a much higher floor.

Horn could potentially be a shut down CB, but I wouldn't take the risk.
