Barely a first rounder and miles behind Jeudy, Ruggs, and Lamb.

That's why I don't think we are looking d-line at all. This is a strong o-tackle and receiver draft, I expect us to go that route or trade back for more picks if one of these qb's start dropping.
Good point. I'm not aware of their cap situation, but Buckner is a proven player. But this is something to consider. The Colts could've just taken Kinlaw themselves.

Heads or tails for me between Jeudy and Ruggs. For me it's, whichever one is there.

Very possible Jets and Raiders picking right before us go WR so we'll see what happens. Ruggs and Jeudy could both be gone. All 3 could be gone...though I'm thinking at least one of the top 3 guys is there.
I think for me in terms of preference would be Ruggs/Jeudy/Lamb.

I'm good with Jeudy, Ruggs, or Lamb.

Jags, Jets, Raiders are threats to grab WRs ahead of us IMO.

I feel like Jags have too many other needs to take WR but it's possible.

Kyle is salivating at those top 3 receivers with that 13 pick! He's been wanting a threat to take the top off the defense so I think he will trade back a few spots to get more picks take Ruggs! I would love to see Jeudy or Lamb lined up across from Deebo but I think they are banking on Hurd being healthy and the big target, Deebo does everything, if they put Ruggs in there has to be 2 high safeties and it opens the run and pass up. I think they move Solly inside to his natural position and rotate Jones and Blair to fill in for Buckner. Hopefully Solly wakes up and plays like the 3rd pick we used on him!

You don't draft anyone, you trade down with team that really wants that pick. I'm guessing it's a trade with a team drafting in the 20's, you swap first roundera and also take their late second or early third. Now you still have 2 first round picks with an added second or third or maybe even both if another team is desperate enough.

That sounds good if Jeudy, Lamb and Ruggs are gone or if THE guy that they wanted is gone. Then you trade back and take the next level of receivers and there are several of them.

Prolly right, but they may add legit weapon for Minshew was my thinking. That'll change for sure if they lose Yannick.

We really could use defensive line and I think our defensive line will drop off. But the right player may not be available. So maybe they will look at WR or OT. Staley is getting older. We could use a big WR or fast WR or both and a great route runner with real good hands. Just improve the roster with something. But I'm not looking forward to the less dominant defensive line. I think it can cost us a lot. We may not be as good. That's exactly how we got so far. The defensive line.

If Ruggs is there at the Raiders pick, I just don't see how they pass on him. Even though Al Davis is gone, Raiders are still the Raiders and they love that speed. I'm good with Jeudy or Lamb or taking the best OT to start at guard this year then slide out to LT when Big Joe retires. Also, would not be opposed to selecting Isaiah Simmons. Could be the Kam Chancellor to our defense just faster and more athletic.

I'm with SanDiego here. I think it comes down to WR or OT. The team needs to find a long-term plan for the upcoming retirement of Joe Staley.
For those who have sent private messages, thanks for the kind comments. I am an "all or nothing" kind of guy, and this year my energy has been 100% sunk into my son's travel hockey and preparation for AAA level hockey. I love the draft, and the board, and will return again someday. I miss our conversations. This is my first post since May...and possibly my last post for the draft season...we will see.
Enjoy the process, my friends, and stay safe out there.
