Let's get this thread going. So, it'll be really interesting to see how the breakdown shakes out in a couple months when the draft is finally here.

1 DT/DE slash player as insurance for both AA/Solly and to replace Solly in 2021. 1 pure 3T to replace Buckner. A guy like Madubuike who also took some snaps at DE but rarely -- similar to Buck last year -- would be an ideal pick for the pure 3T spot.

Base DTs: Thomas or Rookie, DJ Jones
Nickel DEs: Ford, Bosa
Nickel DTs, AA, Jones/Thomas/Rookie

Happy until they use 31 on Cushenberry

I'll feel a lot better if reports come out that they visited with Ruiz and Hennessy.

Can't they have zoom meetings with the nfl draftees? Seems like that should be allowed even with social distancing rules in place to have a zoom telecon from your houses to get to know a guy better.

Would be very surprised if it was for anything other than seeing if he has the character to be a potential UDFA target.

He was productive in college and seems like an extremely hard worker and a good guy to have in the locker room, but the combine is pretty clear on his athletic potential.

6'3 264 with midget arms (31 1/4"), a 4.87 40, and a 32.5" vertical. He's not explosive enough to be a starting edge rusher, he doesn't have the length to play 3-4 DE, and he's too small to play DT. Doesn't have the speed to play linebacker. He's strong and has good core strength per the video but he's maxed out as an athlete.

I'm not against picking him in the 5th/6th round as a potential backup (DE/Nickel DT/ST) and high character guy who will push other players to work harder, but he has a very low ceiling in the NFL.
