Which of these trade down scenarios do you prefer?

I like any of the first 3. The trade with the Raiders would be great with the Giants trade a close second. The Raiders trade would depend on the Cards not taking Murray so the Giants trade have a better chance of happening. I don't agree that Murray is a once in a decade talent. There were better prospects over the last 10 years and there will be better ones next year.
Miami. Moar Ones.
Generally speaking I'm not a huge fan of trading down, especially when the pick we have is so high. I know on paper trade downs sound great and we can "fill many holes", but the chances of us hitting on all of those picks is very low.

Go and look at retrospectives on past trade hauls after a team trade downs. It's uncommon to see a team acquire multiple impact players going that route. If we acquire 4 picks, it's unlikely to be "four holes plugged", but more like "two flopped draft picks and two role players". I'm sure there are exceptions when the stars align and a team nails all the picks, but that's not likely to happen.

If I can trade down and still acquire one of Bosa/Williams/Allen it's tempting (so possibly the Raiders trade). But I think passing on a talent like you feel really confident in is maybe getting a little too cute. If Bosa is there at #2 I'm taking him.
If we trade down to Giants at #6 that grab to Brian Burns. And Or trade down Dolphin or Redskins by #13 (dolphin)or #15 (Redskins) to grab by Montez Sweat?!

I know. It is hard if Brian Burns and Montez Sweat will be gone before top 10?!

Nice post. Fair comment.
I like Raiders trade because I want to be sure we get Burns. IMO, definitely the best edge rushing prospect now and with the most upside. 20 years old, multiple pass rush moves, absolutely best bend, extremely athletic even with the added weight. Will get stronger and better! Willie McGinnis said, "He looked like a receiver at the combine". I agree.

Would try to exchange this yrs 1st rd pick withcash strapped team like Vikings and possibly acquire DE. If not Brian Burns should still be available. Ending up with No 10 No 36 No 41 No 67 in first 3 rds isn't bad. DE WR safety and CB with those picks

I dont see anyone offering us these kind of trades unless its for a QB or with Oakland for Bosa or Qwill. Who would the vikings move up that far for?

I want the second (or first) best player in this draft because of that

I'm not trading back from second unless I get something that i clearly can't pass on

In my opinion there are 3 can't miss players in this draft
1. Bosa
2. QW
3. Allen

Those are the only guys that I can see coming in and making an immediate impact while continuing to improve.
Unless I can trade back and still get one (not likely) I'm not moving

So you wouldnt even do the raiders trade if that meant landing one of those players still since a QBwill probably get drafted in the first 4 picks? Heck, even with the giants trade you still have a great chance at one of those guys.i like

I agree with you. It would be nice to load up on extra picks while we can, But I honestly think they might wait for Lock. He seems like an Elway guy.

I'm partial to the AJ Green scenario. But getting 2 future firsts from WAS/MIA is absurdly good. Especially given both of those teams will likely have Top 5 picks next year.

I was wonderinf when someone would bring the A.J. Green scenario up. that would probably be the best deal for a playoff pushthia off-season. Also, the Bengals could develop a QB behind Dalton and trade Dalton for a decent return when you're ready to move on. Look what we got for Alex Smith

I feel that this draft is unusually deep at positions of need and value, and accumulating asmany early round picks as possible is what's best for us. Especially if we can get future first round picks on teams with top 5 picks, because I hope we never pick this high again. One player doesnt make or break a championship team, but a strong draft class does. We still have some major question marks in our secondary, we need a wide out, need to upgrade our interior line and find aome long term solutions, while also preparing for ataleys eventual retirement. We have a solid team on paper, until aomeone gets hurt. We have no quality depth anywhere except running back and QB is serviceable. We need 4 starters in thia draft qt least. WR, Edge, DB, and IOL. Adding some additional early round picks will certainly help.

But I am going to go and look up the players drafted by a few of these tradea I mentioned, and we'll see how those came out. I think ifs aafe to say we disnt xome out on top with our bears trade, but it could ha e been worse. We could have drafted the safe cant miss proapect that goes by the name Soloman Thomas at 2 and gotten nothing elae in return. If only we picked Mahomes, right?

him, greedy, and Allen are my targets in a trade down. I like that Burns is 20 also. Reminda me a Jevon Kearse
We're sitting pretty at 2 and if Bosa goes one, any of the trade down scenarios presented would be very attractive. The later the pick, the more future picks is very tempting. But i would like to also stay in the top 6 and still have the chance of getting the next ER after Bosa which is Burns.
I apologize I wasn't clear on trade back with Vikings. Trade No 10 to Vikings for LB or DE Hunter. Their OL was horrible last yr and could use upgrade and saves them enough to sign draft picks. If that happens take Greedy Williams at No 18 and possibly get DE in trade. Sweat draws lots of comparisons to Hunter so he's always an option at No 10 Nice reply to everyone's answers. Good insight

I really like the idea of trading down and getting another day 2 pick or 2. If we can drop and get Burns or Allen, and then be able to address WR, CB, C/G, S with potential starters. I want 5 Day 1&2 picks to fill out our depth chart, and a 1st round pick next year from a team that's going to stink it up. Getting a first next year from a bad team gives us an amazing insurance policy if Jimmy G continues to have durability concerns. It could put us in a position to draft a franchise QB next year if we need to. If Jimmy isn't the answer and we win 7+ games this year, we'll be the ones giving up an arm and a leg next year to move up. Also, Joey Bosa has had injury problems, and so has Nick in high school and college. I don't feel he's as safe durability wise as everyone is saying. That's really my only concern besides his ceiling athletically isn't on a Miles Garret level. He's just way ahead of the curve technique wise, and he is probably the only guy I really want at #2 because I feel like we can get a guy like Burns later. Bosa is the perfect bookend with Ford though because he has a good blend of power and speed.
I like the Giants trade because we can move back and get Burns/Allen/Sweat and get a future first round pick, in addition the the late 3d rounder. Giants could flop and give us a top 5 pick next year. Their division is pretty tough right now with the Eagles and Cowboys in championship mode right now.

I like the Bengals team if were going all in on this year. I don't know if we are quite there yet, or how long AJ Green can continue to produce at a high level. In comparisons to some of the other deals, their offer appears to be a little light.

The Dolphins and Redskins trades are almost even, and I would take the Dolphins over the Redskins because I feel they are the less superior team. The Redskins would be more likely to make this offer though, if rumors of the Dolphins tanking are true. My draft wish list would extend to
Bosa
Allen
Qwill
Burns
Sweat
Devin White
Greedy Williams
And I wouldn't be happy missing on an edge rusher but also wouldn't mind fortifying the offensive line if it was BPA. Might be a little bit of a reach, and we would all probably riot until we saw what we got with our day 2 picks.
Garret Bradberry
Andre Dillard
Jonah Williams
Cody Ford
Dalton Risner

If we drafted another OT, McGlinchey can easily move inside to guard, but hes 24 and we need a youn 10+ year anchor if we're picking an OL this high

In my opinion, the Raiders NEED to come away with Bosa or Allen after the Mack trade. Giving up less than they got for Mack will seem like a win.

Plus i believe we would rather Q. So similar to the Bears trade, we SHOULD still be in position to get the guy we want while adding assets.

If we want Q and the raiders trade up for Bosa, we aren't getting Q. No one is picking Josh Allen ahead of QW or Bosa. Suggesting Allen is a replacement for Mack as a pass rusher is laughable and if the Raiders want him, they can sit back at 4 and take him.

Bosa replacement is also laughable. But hey
