Now, I wouldn't be shocked if they drafted him if there at 6 and I wouldn't be shocked if they moved up to 4 for a minimum hit.

The teams that might be interested aren't sitting up high enough and I don't see a team throwing away two yrs worth of draft captial for him.

Don't be shocked if they go DL at 6 and take Daniel Jones who fits the qb Parcells qb check list and has ties to the mannings at 17.

We will see month away

May be you have the NY inside scoop. I was just thinking of Gettleman's behalf before he gets his as* fired.

I don't know about the other teams not being high enough to make a run for Haskins. There is no such thing as free lunch when it comes to QBs. People did it for Goff and Wentz and they can do it for Haskins. 70% completion rate, 50 TDs and 8 INTs?? That's a no-brainer. After I saw how he destroyed Michigan, I knew this kid was legit.

If he does go Bosa or Williams and both somehow don't become difference makers, he's done here. You can't (perception) flop on 3 first round draft picks all graded as your own 1st or 2nd best players on your board.

Remember how terrified Baalke was of drafting a WR again? This s**t is real.

What do people think?

I think it's the opposite...they messed up both 1st rd picks in 2017 so far. Still hope ST can be a quality player at his natural position, BUT that's a debate for another time.

They need a star at 2 and they will have two sitting there.

If I'm lynch, I'm attaching my name to Bosa or QW being successful vs sweat/burns and some S. Every competent draft analyst has those two as elite prospects.

Also people keep saying this draft class is deep at edge and outside of the 1st, I totally disagree. I also think while good, a lot of these edge guys have their warts. Just take one of the elite dudes.

Every competent draft analyst had Solomon Thomas as a safe top 3 pick too. Obviously I'm all in on Bosa personally, just entertaining the notion.

How brass are John's balls. Bosa? Yet another IDT? Or trade down?

May be Raiders, Bucs, Giants, Broncos or Dolphins. It only takes one team to fall in love with Haskins.

What do I think, I don't think he's flopped on any 1st round picks. They moved thomas around because they had an opportunity to. This has been a 3 year plan from the beginning. Those first 2 years were to build culture and experiment. Thomas will play inside, be very good, and will remain good in the nfl for another 10 years. Foster was a known high risk high reward pick, looked genius for a short while then blew up. It's the kind of risk you want your GM to be willing to take. McGlinchey turned out to be one of the best picks in all of the 1st round last year.

I believe lynch when he says he will draft BPA. But if an offer is there and the value is right he won't be afraid of that either. Scared money never wins.

DG won't be getting his ass fired any time soon. The Maras are super patient and wouldn't have allowed the moves made unless they were good with it.

I won't be shocked if his the pick at 6 I would be shocked in a move up. I like Haskins as much as anyone. He destroyed UM with cross-routes slants all day. It's wasn't mind bending QB play. He's still good no doubt.

I just don't see a team moving up and giving up two drafts for him. Miami seems like a team all about tanking for Tua next yr. DC is the one ? But they're sitting at 15. I for one am not moving down to 15 from 2...no way.

Yes and so far they've decided to be morons on how to use ST

I'm just saying they gotta hit this draft. You're staring at two elite talents. I get the intrigue with trading down, I've been on that bandwagon. the more I look at the other players the more I'm not super pumped to draft them. Maybe Bosa is gone but I think Jonny boy is going BPA at 2.

Now trading down from 36 makes much more sense, espically if they like Deebo who imo isn't worth a high 2nd but in a trade down sure.

If Gettleman is not taking a QB, then what is his QB plan? Is he tanking next season then? You have to take a QB when you have the pick or a pick that is high enough which won't cost you the entire farm to trade up.

But, if the Rams and the Eagles were willing to pay a ransom to move up to get Goff and Wentz, I just don't see why wouldn't a team do it for Haskins?

Remember this, as the saying goes, it only takes 1 team to fall in love with the guy.

Even if you think the Dophins are tanking for Tua, the Broncos has to be a possibility. Let's not kid ourselves here, how long will Flacco last up there? LOL.
Earlier in the off-season I would've said yes, trade down. But...I'm pretty sure Lynch/Coach absolutely love QW for what he'll bring to the defense. Willie McGinnest said it better than I can, but adding Williams at NT (3T on 3rd downs) will give Buckner his first stud to play alongside him. Oh, the damage they can do...all the while forming one of the best young DL's in the league. Too much upside to pass up, for certain.

I also don't see lynch moving off and losing out on Bosa/QW. He's got to hit a home run with this pick.

Do you really think last years first pick was a flop? I do not agree with that at all.

Good point. That was my view too if it was just between Q and Bosa, But, most say EDGE is the bigger need, so I see moving down as a compromise/option especially if there are great offers.

2017 was absolutely a complete train wreck. Both 1st round picks namely Thomas and Foster have busted out.

NY......do you think we could trade down and get both Deebo and Greedy? That would be sweet.

Didn't say he wasn't taking a qb said I'm not so sure he moves up for one. At least to 1 or 2. Haskins could very well be the pick at 6 and like I said there's a ton of dots to connect with Daniel jones to NY espically at 17.

Broncos have been connect to Lock.

I get wanting to move down I just don't think it's gonna happen. I also don't want to move down to 10 or later just because.

We will see it does only take one team.

Solomon went through some family tragedies and also I agree with those who said he wasn't put in the best position to be productive in this defense. The telling point is that Zgonina was *fired.* Usually 49er coaches *move on* and go to college because there are *opportunities the coach wanted to pursue.* But not in the case of DLine Coach Zgonina. He was publicly *fired.* which mean I think a lot of the misalignments Solomon had to endure was because of his DLine coach who's no longer on the team. So I agree with you and all the fans that say Solomon - when used correctly in this defense - is going to be good. We shall see how he does under coaches Kris and Chris. I think he'll be even better with Bosa playing on the D LIne with him.
