What will Arizona do with the first overall pick?

It's a tough decision, get a supposedly 1ce every 5 years interior defensive lineman talent in Williams or pair your already great pass rusher with a great Talent on Bosa, you get 1 or the other Bc trading down they will be gone, ask me what I hope, like most they take Williams and the best pass rusher in the draft is finally ours, but I think after the combine and Bosa shows he's healthy and kills it more then his brother he will be the pick, the next thread should be if Bosa is taken number 1 what, then what should the niners do Bc then I thinkthe niners have a tough decision..

Probably Bosa, rooting for them to f**k up.

the importance of the position and the fact you get them cheap for 5 yrs pushes them to the top, what has it been last 14 of 20 drafts have been QB #1? Throw on top the AZ IMO would LOVE to move down and get picks. Their roster is the worst in football.

Idk man. Goff was a unanimous number 1 or 2 pick with Wentz. Baker was unanimous 1st or 2nd qb along with Darnold . Haskins hasn't gotten nearly the same hype or respect as the others . And rightfully so.

But I agree. Some team could move up to grab him or Murray. Who knows. Especially since giants and jags are so close to number 1. At the same time. Jags new OC was Nick Foles QB coach during the super bowl run. So who knows if they go in that direction instead and just try to roll out there dominant defense.

I see at least 6 teams in top 15 that are QB-needy enough to make a play for the #1 overall pick. Haskins looks pro-ready despite limited starts, and looks much more of a sure thing than Trubisky did last year.

49ers in a very good spot again this year. The market for Haskins will be white hot. Either get royalty compensated to move down 5 or 10 spots, or take Nick Bosa.

Yea I'd trust Haskins more than I trusted Mitch coming out of college. Who knows what nfl teams are thinking. The fact that many had Mitch over Watson and Mahomes says a lot. His tape was limited, wasn't all that, and he didn't seem too bright in the film room.

Haskins might have ran a spread offense in college and not carried the ball too many times. But he can definitely run. That'll help him transition the nfl pretty easy if he goes to a decent team.

I don't think another team will pay the price to trade up for Bosa.. And I am unconvinced they will use the #1 on Jonah Williams. The other options all seem quite possible. Prolly Q or Bosa.

Already mentally prepared for it. No let down that way. That said, pretty sure they still jack up the #2 pick.

It's most likely they will draft Bosa. Which leaves us with no real clear option for #2. There is no real clear cut #2 overall player in draft. Just a lot of debate between 5 - 6 guys at various different positions.

Quinnen is most def the 1b to Bosa's 1a

Hopefully their GM is possesed by the ghost of Al Davis on draft day and they end up drafting a RB.

If the Cards go back to a 3-4 defense, then Josh Allen would be the logical choice as he can rush the passer AND drop into coverage. Chandler can be the Will LB and primarily rush the QB. If the keep the OLB they have (both of whom destroyed us), Williams can be a good 3-technique DE or 0 Technique NT. They'd win-win with either of these 2. Bosa is a DE/PR type, I haven't seen or heard of him dropping in coverage and he plays the same position/role as Chandler(which facilitates a move of personnel, poor fit, yatta yatta yah). And with other players like Clelin Ferrel, Polite, etc. the can STILL get a pass rusher in later rounds. They could have: Allen at SLB/Pass Rusher or Williams at either NT or RDE, then add Chandler. Twin towers on the ends, or put Williams next to Chandler(wow dat right side of the defense wud be scary to defend!) and get a SLB round 2.. Bosa is a great player, but he adds redundancy and change/conversion. #BOSAthe9er

A lot of the Bosa lovers don't see this.

They think Bosa is a slam dunk for the Cards at one, but he causes positional issues for them in a 3-4 scheme and Williams is as good a player but on the inside, which is exactly where they need defensive help.

The Cards are not going to be a favourite FA landing spot either and DT is thinner in FA than Edge. If they are smart they'll either take Williams or trade down and take Allen.

Personally, I'm more than delighted with either Bosa or Williams - and I think Williams will be a better player, he has been dominant and is no where near his ceiling while I think Bosa is closer to his.

The sooner you guys realize that playing in a 3-4/4-3 doesn't matter in the year of 2019 when teams are playing in a glorified 4-2-5, the easier it will be to not be frustrated once they pick him. I hope they pick Allen, though. Think he's going to be very average throughout his career.

Bosa will not get the same excitement as a top #1 QB. The market may not be there for a trade down, I can't see any team giving up a kings ransom for the #1 pick.
