QW would eat our oline alive. Kinda more worried about him on the cardinals versus Bosa.
I'm sorry but I'm not worried what so ever about playing against QW . Its not like QW is the next Donald . QW wont be a good player for a couple years just like it took deforest buckner his third year to break out . I say the cardinals will trade the pick to a team that will draft a qb with the 1st pick or they will draft QW .

I'm not sure how you know that QW won't be good for a few years. QW might be the most technically sound DT since Donald to come out. Saying he won't be Donald isn't really saying much because no one is maybe in history. QW could be 75% of the disruptive force Donald is and would be a beast. If there was one player last year that we had the most trouble with it was Donald. With our interior oline being our weak point. I could see QW being even more hard to handle than Bosa for the next few years.

Not sure why people seem to think hes even close to Donalds level. He had one solid season at Bama and is now being extremely over hyped, just like what happened with Soloman Thomas. My biggest issue with QW is consistency, Donald had multiple 10 sack seasons in college. You didn't get to see that from him, one season of good production isn't a safe pick at #2 in my book.
draft bosa

QW is not even close to Donald . I'm not trying to disrespect the kid but he has a long way to go to become an all pro . Donald is a freak and a generational type of talent . QW will be a nice player but he might struggle a little bit his first year and he might not justify a top 3 pick for a couple of years . I just hope that the cardinals will pick QW so we can then swoop in and draft nick bosa .
It will be a damn shame if we don't get to draft nick bosa ! We deserve him for our lousy season . Hopefully the football gods will be on our side and those stupid ass cardinals do the right thing and pick QW .

the importance of the position and the fact you get them cheap for 5 yrs pushes them to the top, what has it been last 14 of 20 drafts have been QB #1? Throw on top the AZ IMO would LOVE to move down and get picks. Their roster is the worst in football.

Idk man. Goff was a unanimous number 1 or 2 pick with Wentz. Baker was unanimous 1st or 2nd qb along with Darnold . Haskins hasn't gotten nearly the same hype or respect as the others . And rightfully so.

But I agree. Some team could move up to grab him or Murray. Who knows. Especially since giants and jags are so close to number 1. At the same time. Jags new OC was Nick Foles QB coach during the super bowl run. So who knows if they go in that direction instead and just try to roll out there dominant defense.
Wow, look at how split everything is. I think there's a 20% chance they trade down. If they don't, I think they go with Bosa or Josh Allen ....
What would Vance Joseph do?

Someone else mentioned Donald and I do think it's a poor comparison. QW will probably never be a real high sack guy but his impact on games will be tremendous and similar to how Justin Smith or Mike Daniels took over games.

I agree the one year is worrisome but as a former NT you don't see someone that big use his hands that well really ever. His hand usage, instincts, power, leverage, and other traits are not overhyped one bit. You could say that there isn't enough of a sample size and you might be right. But what he's shown on tape this year is not overhyped and in fact maybe underrated because a lot of his impact doesn't show up in the stat sheet.

You're the one who keeps bringing up Donald right? Lol I think you're making the comparison then saying it's a bad one.

People who actually watch the two know they aren't similar. Just like how Buckner and QW are different players. Buckner was a great prospect but pretty raw coming out. I don't think you can say that about QWs tape. As I just mentioned above you could worry about the one season but his tape shows he's ready to play and play well right now.

I really just don't get why both of you say he won't be good first three years or what evidence you are basing that off of.

I see at least 6 teams in top 15 that are QB-needy enough to make a play for the #1 overall pick. Haskins looks pro-ready despite limited starts, and looks much more of a sure thing than Trubisky did last year.

49ers in a very good spot again this year. The market for Haskins will be white hot. Either get royalty compensated to move down 5 or 10 spots, or take Nick Bosa.

I just don't see AZ passing on Bosa. I think it'll be QWill, Allen or a trade down and snagging someone like Farrell in a swap with JAX at #7.

I want a team to trade up to 1 to take Murray. I don't want to face Murray and the Midget 4 times a year. No thanks.
