Terrill Hanks, LB, New Mexico State

WHEW, check out the range on the first play to beat the RB to the perimeter and shoot the window for the TFL. Can't overstate the importance of the second play in the 49ers' defense. Offenses specifically use crossers to attack this defense. LBs must have the awareness to keep their head on a swivel, look for work and run with any imminent crossing receivers.

This is starting to feel like last year.

Sign me up, there should be teams who have him off their board due to size, we put a premium on speed and fluidity, and he has some violence as well, Saleh should be creaming himself.
Yess, yesss, that's our type of LB.

nooo....he's suppose to go under the radar

With the week of practices finally over, the big winner on the boards of most scouts is New Mexico State linebacker Terrill Hanks. Scouts love his athleticism and ability to play all three downs.
All gas, no brakes. Shoots it so damn fast the wrapper doesn't get a finger on him.

Fred Warner and Terill Hanks.

What round you see him going?

That should be clearer after the combine, but probably an end of day 2, early day 3 guy.

Take him with our 4th rounder
Maybe the only other NM State defensive player ever drafted....Fredd Young.

Fast flow and finish with the boom.

Hanks is not going to be this year's Leonard. Not the same athlete, and not the same length. That being said, he is a solid prospect that should be off the board in that 90-125 pick area.
