The only one I could think of that was close to your criteria was when the Raiders traded the 7th overall pick and Napolean Harris (and a 7th rounder) for (28 year old?) Randy Moss. But that was over a decade ago.
Still, I agree with you that it's unlikely to happen this year.

What scares me the most about trading back is you may end up not getting the player you wanted. You pass on Williams or Allen and hope Ferrell or Polite will be there when you trade back and then someone ahead of you takes them. Not saying those would be the guys they wanted but it's that kind of scenario that worries me. You end up having to take the best guy still on the board.

The Browns got two 1s, a 2, a 3, and a 4 for moving down from 2 to 8 for Wentz. It Bosa is gone, I would be fine with all of those picks and either the best available Edge, CB, or LT.

That only works if there are two QBs that can go 1 and 2. At this point, Haskins would be a stretch, but Wentz and Goff weren't super high at this stage either.

Yeah, obviously if Bosa isn't taken at 1, you keep the pick and draft him, but if he is gone and there is only one franchise QB available, teams would probably trade up. If it was the Giants trading up from 6, there still is an outside chance we could still end up with Allen.

1. Bosa
2. Haskins
3. QW
4. Jonah Williams, White, or Greedy
5.Jonah Williams, White, or Greedy
6. Allen
Maybe for 2 additional first rounders, but still, I think I'd rather draft an elite player. I feel like we're closer than some people where. One elite player IMO is more valuable than improvements to several positions.
If we lose Quinnen and Allen I think we f'd up. Quinnen a constant pocket collapser and Allen ability speeds the play up so much... Qb's would not be able to sit back like they do now... Burns and others are ok, but no one has the ability to CONSTANTLY disrupt like Q and Allen...

We also need to hire that pass rush coach from Kentucky that has made all these studs.. I forgot the list

I agree. If we don't come away with Bosa, Q.Williams, or Allen, even if we get extra 1st rounders, I think it would be to our disadvantage. My current priority is: 1) Bosa; 2) Allen; and 3) Q. Williams. That may change depending on what we do with Armstead, our FA, and the fact that Josh Allen will be coached by Shanahan at the Senior Bowl. Unless additional injury info comes out on Bosa, he's the top spot.

If we end up with Q.Williams, then a trade up from #36 would be a great idea, if we can get the last remaining of: Polite or Burns. That may not be feasible, and we may end up with Sweat anyway at #36. The point is, if we don't go pass rusher with the first pick, we have to prioritize it immediately after. There are too many really good pass rushers (like the TE draft when we selected Kittle).
There are always 2 or 3 quarterback hungry teams that lose all sense of reality after the Combine. Listen to their offers and if one is over the top take it.

The two scenarios that I would agree to would be:

1. Haskins (QB1)
2. Trade with OAK - Bosa/Williams/Allen/QB2
3. Jets
4. SF

This way, we're still guaranteed one of those guys. So Haskins would have to go #1, and only OAK.

OR

Trade with Jets

I don't think there's any scenario in which Haskins goes #1.
Please don't trade for OBJ or AB, don't need anymore drama after Aldon, and the other guy we cut this year.

Yeah, I'm with you - no more drama queens on this team.
Seems def a possibility Haskins goes 1

I think there is two courses of action that can take place, assuming Bosa retains his value through the process. 1) Arizona denies trade offers and takes Bosa first. Then someone trades up with us to take Haskins. Good targets are either the Jags or Giants 2) someone trades up with the cards to take Haskins, and we pick Bosa.

Either will be a win-win. . We get a value or the best prospect.
I'm trying to imagine why a team would want to go up to 2. Haskins would have to floor everyone during the draft process. I don't see that happening.
