I think Cody Ford is the best linemen i have seen in a long ….long..... time. When he gets NFL level Conditioning he is going ot the next level. in some ways i want us to trade down from pick 2 and get the ammo to get him.
There is a lot to like with Cody Ford in a phone booth. However, his movement skills are pretty poor. I noticed that when they pulled him. It took an hour for him to get the the left side of the OL. That also showed up in his combine cone and shuttle numbers, which were really poor. He does a nice job blocking off the edge, but moving anywhere laterally is a tough sell for me.
