PFF actually has him going to the Rams at 32 in their first mock

It's alright, you can say 'who?' If you haven't heard of the Old Dominion edge defender though, you'll start to more and more in the coming months despite our best efforts at showcasing his ability all season long here. The senior has improved every single year of his career before finishing 2018 with a 91.6 overall grade. He already has a myriad of pass-rushing moves and seemingly won every time he got a one-on-one this past year.

I'd be delighted with him and Bosa, how do you feel he stacks up against Polite?
OX is a solid mid 2nd rounder to high third for me at this point. Senior Bowl plus measurables will determine if I grade him higher or lower before the draft.

I question if he'll overpower NFL tackles the same way he did against some lesser competition, but I like his ability to work off of blocks with a lot of good counter moves. Seems like a smart player with good mental aptitude for the game and his physical traits of quickness and lateral movement are appealing.

On the negative side, on top of what you mentioned -- lacks elite bend -- I don't see an ability to anchor and that's a problem if he's on the LOS. Seems to get engulfed at times in the middle of traffic, and overall looks to me like a better fit at linebacker than pure NFL DE.

That's my honest take.

Just took a look ta him. I think he projects better as a pass-rushing linebacker than a DE. But I like has athletic ability. I think he could be a LEO though.

You see them hands?!? I'm a sucker for strong hands used well

No homo
Maybe we can get this guy in the second round. Just saw him projected as a low 1st in a pff mock and a mel kyper one as well. Not sure what to think of him atm but his highlights look ok.

I've spent so much time with Allen/Burns/Polite/Ferrell that I'm behind on the other guys lol.

Check out this play. Nice job sitting down and getting his hands up. Not to mention the hand-eye coordination to complete the INT.
