2019 Draft Crushes

Some sites have Harry going in the 1st...check him out against the Fresno State Bulldogs on the 15th. I also really like Josh Allen. In watching the game yesterday, I was like, " where do we even start?" Then I thought, "we start by getting back Jimmy, McKinnon, a healthy Breida, etc. but we do have a ton of holes. A talented big back would be nice. We have a stable of 5'10" 195 lb. guys with talent. We need skilled thumper later in the draft. Maybe the kid from Kentucky. Anyway, without edge pressure, our D is very mediocre. All over the place, sorry.

For me
1st, definitely has to be Edge Josh Allen out of Kentucky
2nd, DB Taylor Rapp out of Washington
3rd, WR N'Keal Harry out of ASU
4th, ILB Troy Dye out of Oregon
5th, CB Mark Gilbert out of Duke
Whoa. I agree with this list.

Nick Bosa-DE I honestly never thought they'd have any chance to draft him. He's been the #1 prospect in this draft class for over a year. He is a dominant edge rusher, different from Myles Garrett in many ways but a similar caliber of player. If the 49ers are in position to draft him, then you draft him without hesitation and move on. While I do think any injury/medical concerns should be looked into, he's clearly the top prospect in this class.
David Montgomery-RB Its very unlikely that the 49ers go RB early but Montgomery is my favorite RB in this draft class. Overall this class doesn't have the hype of the last two due to the lack of "generational" RBs at the top of the draft class but its still a pretty intriguing group. Montgomery reminds me a whole lot of guys like Arian Foster and Kareem Hunt(minus the assault and battery charges). I could see him being a monster in this scheme with his ability to break tackles and force missed tackles in the open field. A trio of McKinnon, Montgomery and Breida could be a nightmare to defend.
TJ Hockenson-TE I like both TE's from Iowa a lot though its likely that Fant goes way early. Hockenson would allow the 49ers to run some potentially explosive two TE sets with two TE's that are capable of being monster blockers as well as making plays down the field as receivers. If Hockenson comes out for the draft, he'd be mighty enticing. I'd love to see the 49ers run a lot more 12 and 22 personnel, forcing defenses into making even more difficult coverage decisions.
Max Scharping-OT I think that regardless if Staley retires or sticks around another year, tackle needs to be addressed again, in this case I would love Scharping as a developmental tackle to eventually step in at right tackle with McGlinchey moving to the left side after Staley retires. He's got the athleticism and football IQ to thrive in this scheme, just needs some better coaching, improvement to his footwork but I like him better than Brian O'Neil out of Pitt last year and O'Neil has been mostly solid for Minnesota after being pushed into the starting lineup.
Khalil Hodge-ILB/OLB Have neglected to make a thread for Hodge, he's really flying in well under the radar, doesn't get nearly as much attention as his play deserves but he's someone that the e-draftnik's have long been really big on, an impressive linebacker who could play the weakside in this defense and a California native to boot. He made some significant improvements this past season and could be an intriguing option in the 5th or 6th round. He's still figuring things out but when he gets a read on the play he comes through like a freaking missile.

What a great open field tackle from @Khalil_Hodge. Some #NFL team is going to be very happy come April. #UBHornsUp #ALL41 #MACChampionship pic.twitter.com/zWVrJKGBhW

Nice list, not familiar with Scharping but Hockenson and Hodge are very nice prospects, I'd love if they were niners next year..

Scharping is an absolute mess, but definitely very enticing tools

His footwork is inconsistent but when he locks in, he just dominates his opposition. To me he's a guy that you ideally sit for a year while you coach him up and help him become more consistent with his technique. He's had some really great games, he did well against FSU and Burns and then he's had some terrible ones but like you said, there's a lot of talent there to be molded. If I were to take him, it would be to develop him to play right tackle, assuming his measurements are somewhat accurate.

Yup ! Rapp is my guy too, if the niners don't sign a S I hope they take him if he falls to them in the 2nd round, I think he's going to be a star in the league..

At this time I only have 2. Bosa and David Edwards. I think both players would be a perfect fit for this team.

I don't know about draft crashes but I do know about draft blow jobs and I want to give one to Nick Bosa. Does that qualify?
