2019 Draft: Who would you pick? | Page 5

I don't know how to root against the team BUT if we end up #1 what the hell. So, without talking about "tanking" (already a thread for that) Who do we pick? OR do we trade down?? After week 11 we now have the #1 pick in the draft: "If the season ended today, the 49ers would own the top pick in next year's draft....... The 49ers (2-8 and coming off their bye week) would be followed by the Cardinals (2-8) and the Raiders (2-8), the Jets (3-7) would pick fourth, followed by the Giants, Bills, Jaguars, Buccaneers and Browns (3-6-1). Well, we dont need a boatload of good QB to come out, this would weaken our position.
If there is only ONE Top Notch QB Prospect, he does not have to be the clear Top overall player, and the rest is mediocre, that would be the perfect situation for us where all the QB Needy Teams fight for the First Overall Pick.
I expect this to be Herbert.

I wouldn't be so sure on Oakland. Gruden is a crazy SOB that hasn't been particularly supportive of Carr. He could look to move him to a team like the Giants and select his own QB to develop, especially with two first rounders. All it takes is one team to really fall in love with a QB. Unfortunately this does look like a fairly crappy draft for QB's, hoping someone like Haskins flies up as we get to the end of the season and gets people even more excited with his offseason workouts.

Funny thing is I thought he took the job because they had a franchise qb, pass rusher, and a wr1. What a mess.
For nothing other than a hunch I think he sticks with Carr.
