Looks like he's up to 237 lbs now.

Curious what he comes in at. Can't argue with the production. Would love to grab him mid rounds. Dude is up to 15 sacks this year I believe. Would be great to see him at Senior Bowl.
Put his name in Baalke's envelope and we'll save it for April.

Looks like scheme-fit LEO. We could use 1, or 3, of those.
Probably will be a back-up inside LB who can surprise teams with his pass rush ... probably rd 5-7 pick
Thanks for the film. He is small but if he really is 240 and that strong he may be a freak that can play. Looks to have safety speed coming off that edge. Reminds me of Derrick Thomas who played for the Chiefs years ago. He was only about 220 lbs but so fast he would be past the tackle before he knew it. With so few teams keeping a back in to block in this pass happy era I don't know who would block him. Definitely looks like a situational player. Would be a good guy to team up with Bosa on obvious passing downs.

Derrick Thomas was 6-3, 255 lbs.
I'm looking forward to seeing him in the one-on-one drills. I think he'll look amazingly fast and dominate on one play, then get completely stoned on another. Still, he's a nice player to have in the pass rushing arsenal.

Smith looks more than a one-trick pony though. He has nice awareness and is a play maker.

He's the type of guy who I'd love to take a flyer on and hope he can be a lunch pail bringer on defense.

Say what you will about his size and what not but the numbers are legit. Kid makes plays. At worst I think he can be a quality special teamer and provide depth as a nickel rusher.
Someone on twitter said that he's 215 lbs right now. Dude better start thinking about moving to off-ball LB because if that's accurate, there's zero chance he's getting drafted as an edge rusher.
If he can cover he'd be a dope inside the box safety.
I feel Sutton's pain. That was me rushing off the edge in Juco. The size disparity ultimately becomes insurmountable for tiny players. OT get bigger and bigger at each level and manhandle us manlets lol. Sutton better get comfortable fast at off-ball LB.

Looks like this kid didn't become a quarterback after all.

Good lord...time to change positions

Starting to feel sorry for Rudy. Hopefully he can still get a shot somewhere or at least make his niche on special teams.
