Chase Winovich - DE Michigan

I never said they had the same ceiling but I am interested in their body of work.

Rashan Gary and Chase Winovich are every down players. Bosa isn't.

I agree chase doesn't have a higher ceiling but I think Rashan Gary has a higher ceiling than Bosa. He has allthe physical attributes to be a star.

Rashan is going to turn heads at the combine.

How in the world is Bosa not a every down player? Sure durability matters, but it's not like Bosa is coming off two injury plagued yrs in college. Kid made a business decision and I'm fine with any college kid with a bright future doing the same. As long as he's 100% going into the combine and no LT effects that will hurt him in the future (which I can't imagine with a hernia surigury) I'm fine with it. You could never get hurt in college only to be snake bitten with injuries in the NFL. Crap happens it's football ya know.

I agree Gary will turn heads at the combine. I still think he's a interior pass rusher end of the day. He's strong as s**t and more of a linear guy imo lacks lateral mobility around the edge. He reminds me of Thomas (possibly more athletic). we don't need anymore of that here.

I wouldn't be asking if I could find it. Do you think I would not post it if I did have it???

But I be wrong if I said something smart back? Smfh

Unreal

"Nick Bosa: 28 tackles, 12.5 TFL, 6.0 sacks, 47 QB pressures, 19 stops
Mo Hurst Jr: 58 tackles, 13.0 TFL, 5.0 sacks, 46 QB pressures, 37 stops
Chase Winovich: 84 tackles, 17.0 TFL, 8.0 sacks, 49 QB pressures, 48 stops

Bosa was named 2017 Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year."

Lmfao. And they say I'm the bias one ? I think some should re-evaluate thats all and take a look from different lenses.

That's all.. (I am still looking for the snap count)
I believe I created a Mo Hurst thread...

That's why I am asking for the snap count.. I don't think Osu used him as an every down player.

I'm not saying he cannot be thus me curious on his snap count. I cannot find it thus me creating a dialogue with you guys. If it doesn't mean anything to anyone. Cool my bad.

Disregard.

Your post shows how elite the Michigan defense is, wouldn't that mean Chase's stats are due to the surrounding cast he has?

My bad. The way you came off was like made me think I was withholding the info. I really wanted to know because I couldn't find it.

I think Wu is referring to Bosa only playing 50% of downs in 17. This year he wss going to be full time but got hurt. It's nothing to worry about. OSU had a stacked d line. Coaches will play the sr more often than not.

STOP IT

The real question from last year is a little more complex:

1. Is McGlinchey's value over our RT, greater than Davenport over Marsh
a. considering the plethora of talented edge rushers in the 2019 draft and FA

2. Is Pettis worth more than Landry
a. considering the plethora of talented edge rushers in the 2019 draft and FA

Our pass rush has obviously under performed, but Im glad the team didnt waste picks on Davenport or Landry.
This article covers some of the reasons why I love this kid:
