No. Possibly he plays this week against Michigan state or Michigan saves him for the Penn state game.
Harbaugh is mum on it as reporters asked this afternoon.
Started 31 straight games. 2nd game missed at Michigan.

He is one of the main reasons Michigan defense has been top 5 every year...... Facts
#1 by the way this year in the country and #1 pass defense...
#NFLDraft #DraftTwitter #CollegeFootball #nfl #CFB #NFLDraft2019 #Wolverines #umich #GoBlue Like the film on Michigan DE Rashan Gary. 6-foot-5, 280. Raw power. Plays fast. Upside on the edge. Twist stunt here vs. O State... pic.twitter.com/MpOZLpY5GC

🤔
Inside or Outside
I think you are right WU. My previous point was not specifically about Gary but in general what people mean with a speed rusher. Gary looks like the kind of player we hoped Thomas could be and much more suited to become a Michael Bennet type player this defense needs with the real ability to rush outside and inside. Not sure that we will be in position to draft him though as he will go really high but I expect us to pick top two and be out of position for him.

Brethren thank you for seeing my vision! and not just thinking I want him here because he is from Michigan.
I truly believe he would be an asset for our defense.

So you think Gary is going 1st overall??

Unless we trade back and/or sign an actual edge rusher, don't need Gary or Winovich.

Nah I meant we won't be able to trade back in the first to grab him. Gary could go high in the draft but we will be picking too 3 so we will be out of range.

Former Paramus Catholic star Rashan Gary, currently at Michigan, coming in at No. 5 overall in this very early NFL Mock Draft. #NJFootball https://t.co/Cy4gCMg80q

Of course but if you place Oliver in the B10 this season he still doesn't produce as much against the more NFL ready offensive fronts because he lacks the technique.

Vise versa if you put Rashan Gary or Dre'Mont Jones on an AAC team they would stand out much more like Oliver.

I said that, because I didn't see any Mocks lately that had him going top 5. But I even stated saying you could be right. So quick to jump on people when they're wrong. Doesn't matter, I'm betting the 9ers won't even draft this guy anyway, he's just not the DE the 9ers need right now. I think he would be better inside than on the edge.

You asked, others insisted he wasn't I believe.
Regardless it would be such a disappointment to ignore a Cam Jordan type of player but we are the 49ers, so you are probably right.

Ferrell>>>>>>>Gary....for the 49ers that is.
49ers need sack artist's off the edge, someone who will get to the QB....not big ends, they have enough of those already. Give me DeMarcus Lawrence or Khalil Mack any day over Cam Jordan.

"Rashan Gary, DE/DT, Michigan: The former No. 1 overall recruit has already delivered on his considerable hype, and the best could be yet to come. Displaying moves far more refined than one would expect from a player his age (he's only 20), he looks comfortable both pressuring the quarterback and making plays against the run."

Stats can be inflated when playing against weak competition...
Different scenarios.. There's no tougher conference than the Big 10 and no other team has a tougher schedule than Michigan this year in the league.
Sure they look good against sub par competition.. I can look like a sack artist playing against pee wee..
Not only does he have the size, he has the speed that those others cannot touch a 4.57 on their best day. Solomon, Bosa, Ferrel nor any other guy can f**k with his 4.57...
When you out run running backs like Karan Higdon and Chris Evans and run with defensive backs. You know that 4.57 is not far fetched. He is only 20 years old playing in the most competitive conference.

Look at the Clemson or the SEC schedule... Inflated.. Ferrell wouldn't have those numbers in the Big Ten and Rashan Gary would look like a sack king against that cupcake schedule the SEC has. Excuse me for laughing but if Rashan Gary would have this schedule he would look like a sack 👑 king.. No questions about it..
Context is important.. Michigan faced a top 5 team in week 1.. Michigan faces 5 top 20 teams this year... How many teams faced a top 5 team in week 1 in Indiana..
Competition, Competition and Competition...
Who the hell is the Citadal in football? Alabama played LA Lafayette... No disrespect but in football that's a pee wee team... SEC has a weak ride to the playoffs meh..
