So you think it's irrelevant that Bosa is a fan of an openely racist president when his goal is to be drafted highly in a league which is dominated by players with African heritage? Last I heard football was a team sport.

Absolutely irrelevant. Locker rooms seem to be way more accepting/forgiving than people on the internet.

Seriously doubt some Trump retweets and calling Kap a clown will shake the locker room to the core. Most on this forum already know Kaps a clown, though many wouldn't admit.

That's how I'm starting to view the Bosa v. Quinnen debate. Nick will be a very very good player (Joey Bosa), but maybe never elite (Mack, Miller) and may have chronic health issues. Quinnen may be truly elite, the best IDL in the league after Donald. But Edge is more valuable that IDL, especially given our roster...

I get what you're trying to do but Quinnen is not Donald so the comparison isn't fair.

I think Quinnen is closer to Suh. Who had an impressive career at DT but nothing on the level of impact like Donald. The fact that we also have Buckner who is one of the top 3Ts in the game behind Donald and maybe a few other guys...QW as good as he is doesn't make as much sense.

The way I see it is Quinnen makes us better but still leaves a weakness on the roster that has to be addressed urgently.
Bosa makes us better and also helps everyone else fit at their best positions which in turn makes us a better overall team.

And since it's a team sport I'd rather have a player who maybe doesn't have as much potential at his current spot as the other guy but given the state of the roster makes us a better TEAM.

Man, it's very sad when other people cannot accept or tolerate someone else's political views. It's football we are not going in a voting booth. It's suppose to be separate where we can all come together and root for a team as one. You cannot hold it against people because there opinion doesn't correlate with yours. We don't think the same and we don't vote the same leave it as that. If bosa is a 49er we will root and cheer for him and forget everything the first
Time he sacks someone. Let the man vote or be for whatever political Side he wants. It's none of our dam business. Democratic Party wants to everyone to be accepted. So let's go by that logic and accept bosa with open Arms when we get one of the best pass rushers in the draft.

Secondly, all posters have been asked several times now, to keep the political stuff out of this thread. To discuss it in the appropriate place, the Parking Lot. Not the football forums. And you twist this into an accusation that we are being incredibly ignorant and preventing your discussion.

When good people are afraid to speak out, this country is in trouble. We all know what Trump is, but the fact that a football player likes him is concerning only if you value Bosa's judgment. I like him as a skilled player. His political views carry no weight/

So if Mullens is Big Dick Nick, what will Bosa be called?

I would love to see this openly racist stuff. All I can find is propaganda being pushed along with assumptions. Exactly like with Bosa. You just keep buying what they are selling, what could go wrong.

Bosa is so good and fits us like a glove as a scheme fit and roster fit.

I can understand anyone who wants Quinnen Williams, the guy is an absolute monster. I'm not sure I can get on board with any other reasoning, the other guys have far too many question marks.

We pick #2, there are 2 elite prospects, don't overthink it.

I agree on leaving politics out. Anyone and everyone should be free to have their own views on them without recourse. We should leave them for another board, but stop trying to shield things like his views on movies and music that are completely unrelated to them.
