If people can't accept other people because of who they are as a person and not only if they fit into their little cookie cutter, then they're a very shallow person.
Having a differing opinion (as long as it's not hurting anyone) is no reason to exclude anybody (especially for something as trivial in life as a sport)
Alex Smith gave a lot of money to support Obama yet I didn't hear people on him about that, even in KC
I want Bosa and I hope he sacks Brady (also Pro Trump) 5 times in the next Super Bowl.
This political stuff has really gone over the edge.

I agree.

If anything, I would say the fact Bosa thought to remove his political postings is a positive sign. Not because of his political views, but because he's going to be a professional athlete making millions and curating his own brand. His personal political beliefs are only that, personal. It shows he's at least thinking about how he might be received in San Francisco and that can't be a bad thing.

But yes, who cares if he's a Trump supporter or a Bernie Sanders backer, what matters is how he conducts himself professionally.

Niners drafted a guy 9th overall last year who had NRA and Conservative stuff all over his IG before the draft process lol. My Niner buddies on another forum called him Magalinchey, but I helped them realize it doesn't matter. Who cares. People need to get over it. It's okay to have differing opinions.

Play ball, sack the QB and let's get these dubs.

All I read was, "Niner buddies on another forum..."

Yeah, it's the equivalent of blasting an ugly prostitute in the public eye and then realizing that may not have been a good move and dumping her and getting back to business.

In all seriousness, i do wonder how his view of the kneeling would be perceived. Though with our current cast (outside of sherm) i dont think it would/could/should be a big deal.

Is very simple, just imagine if Kap was still our QB? Even when Kap is no longer here, this 9ers locker room has never been acting in a right-wing fashion. The 9ers was the team which knelt most all along and to our owner's credit Jed has always been great and extremely supportive about it. We are the San Francisco 49ers, not some scumbag southern right-wing dictatorship Dallas Cowboys run by some cockroach called Jerry Jones.

But, just going back to Kap for a moment, even if we had Conservatives in our locker room at the time, I had never heard of any guy calling Kap out back then. I think those Conservative players knew full well what the majority of the team believed in. And that is precisely why we have such a tight locker room.

Right clearly

I wish these kids today would realize social media is the devil and you never talk politics or religion aside close friends and family lol even that's a risk these days.
That thought process is the Devil. The media wants to silence us and push their progressive agenda. Those who speak out get boycotted and in danger of of being ostracized. The PC, BS, is just a way to take away or first amendment rights. If you don't understand, read (or stream) Animal Farm.

I agree. He should have stood behind his tweets.
Now, he just comes across as being spineless, catering to the media.

Whose trying to silence you? What do you want to say that you can't say already? Typical white anxiety.

In theory, you are right, but unfortunately this is no longer the reality. We are currently living in a time of extremely polarized politics thanks to Trump. You don't have to look any further, CNN cameraman can get beaten up by those MAGA mob at the rallies.

In any case, the Alex Smith example you cited was perfect because the 49ers is naturally a more left-wing and liberal team having originated from San Francisco. As for his time at KC, may be the team is not as right-wing as we all thought. But, one thing for sure, if you were a kneeler, I doubt you would have an easy time at the Dallas Cowboys.

But, to answer your question again, yes this political stuff has gone over the edge, but sorry to say this is where we are at. At the end of the day, you have to stand for something.

For me, personally, I choose to stand with Kap and Bosa makes me uncomfortable with his stance. But, in any case, if you take away politics, I never thought he was worth the 2 pick from a talent standpoint. In my opinion, he would be overdrafted at 2. If we don't trade down and must pick someone at 2, then to me Q is the only guy qualified for that pick. Bosa to me is a high floor low ceiling guy. He would be ready to contribute from the start, but I don't expect him to be an exceptional player. I have always said, he ain't no Von Miller.

Yeah, I don't think he needed to say anything. But, deleting them does save some future flaming.

I'm might be the odd one out, but I always found her attractive. Obviously not model pretty, but attractive nonetheless.

That was about ncommand's analogy, not specifically her.

So, if he will cave to public pressure, maybe Bosa will hold back on a pass rush to not get flagged at a critical moment. (Draft Quinnen )

Q has always been the better player from the get-go. The dude is totally dominant, just watch the tape. There is just no comparison, politics or no politics.

But, I do recognize EDGE is the bigger need, that's why I think taking a lesser EDGE won't make that huge a difference if we have an opportunity to trade down , say to grab 2 x 1st round players instead.
I care f#ckall about his political leanings. To be frank, go knock the QB down and keep your mouth shut.

of course my response to CK was, just throw TD passes...….. so at least i am consistent.
