LOL...me too.

BTW, how do I make my penis great again? Mayo? Any advice?

Just let it come natural, man.

Yeah, what Mayo is saying, if you read between the lines... Steroids!

Steriods, baby!

We're at the pt now where people are b***hing about gene markers and political views hahah...Jesus.

Anyone crying about this need to realize there are plenty of people in every locker room that aren't hardcore liberals.

So you draw a line at hitting women, but then go on to say that other people are crying because they draw the line at a different point? Why do you get to decide where the line is?

I don't want someone that has pushed white supremacist narratives on the team. I don't think that should even be a controversial opinion.

It's fine if you're ok with it, but the team should think carefully whether they want someone like this to represent the organization.

Show me specifically where Bosa has pushed white supremacist narratives. I'll wait.

What the f**k are you talking about? White supremacist? So every single person that voted for trump is a racist?

Dude plays football which is primarily African Americans...he has friends that are black man. Go read some of the articles of his teammates (who are black) talking about him.

So SF should only draft liberals? This is the lame s**t you're trying to push.

Get out of here with that crap man.

No. But if you did. It's more likely you are. Trump's followers are blind. He could say the N word in a speech. And it would be blocked from there memory. Or they would support it. One of the two. I have never seen so many racists come out in the open. I have never seen so many blind followers.
Would his views matter to his teammates? That's the overriding question. It's apparent that there are many fans that will look at him strictly through the lens of his value as a football player and couldn't care less what he does with his social media accounts.

I get that.

But the fan base does not have to share a locker room with him, nor do we have to face pressure from our communities, family members and the public at-large when a fellow player crosses into the political/social arena and is perceived to be antithetical to issues that affect them on an intimate level. There was a time that locker rooms could easily ignore something like this. The internet and social media have put those days behind us, probably for good. It would be interesting to know the true feelings of the players that had to endure all of the drama that surrounded the team, and the league, the past couple of years. Without a doubt, I believe it to have been exhausting and caused some players to take public positions that they cared not to indulge in. Most players appear to be too consumed with their jobs to have time for social commentary, but when the media persistently hounds them about their input about hot-button topics that transcends their jobs, the players are put into a very uncomfortable position.

In other words, many 49ers fans might not care about this topic, but NFL players nowadays don't have the luxury to not care.

I see a few posters have alluded to fans not knowing the political leanings of the majority of the team's players or other NFL players. That's kinda the point of this whole debate. Once a player lets his private views about controversial topics or political ideology enter into the public domain, it creates the kinds of discussions that we are now having—discussions that have nothing to do with football.

Would I welcome Bosa as a player? Yes. Is this whole issue of what he says/does in respect to social issues something that could potentially disrupt a locker room? Again, yes.
Remember how his Ohio State team ignored him and hated him cause of his politics. Me either

I'm gonna have a shirt made with a picture of Cole Beasley catching that last sec TD to lock us into the 2nd overall pick

You ain't a real draft fan if you weren't freaking out over that catch. Hardest I cheered all year.

Instant Beasley fan

No doubt I was cheering big time when Beasley scored, call me old school but my favorite moment was beating the Seahawks and.....(possibly) still getting Bosa

Our Society has been functioning just fine for hundreds of years despite people having different political views.

Do you honestly believe the 80s & 90s 49ers won a lot of games because everyone shared the same political views?

He could blow Trump daily , don't care if he is getting sacks

Yep. Garcon once made some political comments. He was able to keep that separate from his football life.

Agreed, and didn't say it wouldn't going forward. Just pointing out some some considerations that teams have to examine before selecting a player that the fan does not.

My parents voted for trump because they're republicans and have voted that way since before I was born (I'm a democrat), they don't have a racist bone in their body...they give back to the community and raised me to be respectful of everyone regardless of race/sex/region.

So no, not everyone is a racist...you're basically doing what you're claiming trump people are doing, judging people you don't even know.

FYI good luck finding a football team full of liberals. Might as well cross out the SEC, big 12, ACC etc if you can't have any republicans on the team lol.

Anyway back to football....15 more days until Bosa is a Niner

if you can't stand that because of political views sorry not sorry.

Hey if that happens, I'll gladly eat crow for complaining about that.
