I highly doubt he has white supremacy ideology. It just speaks more to his intelligence by supporting trump. But hey, all he has to do is rush the qb.

As long as Boss balls out, I don't think he'd have issues in any NFL locker room.

Of course it matters!! This is the San Francisco 49ers for God's sake and not some southern team.

Bosa called Kap "a clown" and siding with Trump's ridiculous extreme far right views. You do remember he called all the players who knelt "sons of b*tches" and called for their firing right?

You also do realize our owner aka Jed York's stance on the matter right? First off, any 9ers player was allowed to kneel during the national anthem before the new policy. Secondly, Jed even abstained from the owners vote on this stupid new NFL national anthem policy. This ain't the Dallas Cowboys!!

And even if we have Conservative players, I think they know better to keep their mouths shut. Bosa is the first time I have heard of any potential or existing 49ers player being pro-Trump.

Just remember this is a San Francisco team and you need to know what values people in San Francisco believe in. And you don't need to live there neither. You just need to know what this team is about.

i believe Beathard is a big trump guy too. Has a picture with him, calling him a "legend". I dont care though. As long as they dont spout his hateful rhetoric and play good football, i could care less.

His pass rush is so good, he can travel back in time to sack QBs and talk trash.

Will you guys boycott being niner fans of he's the pick?

Definitely not! Not close. We fans have been through a lot worse over the years lol
And I'll happily root for Bosa. But if I'm looking for a jersey to buy, it won't be Bosa's.
I'll be disappointed if the Cardinals pick him.
This player needs to keep his politics out of football. I'm all for bosa the football player, but bosa the right wing racist needs to be some one who stays at home. every one is entitled to there opinion, but when you're in a locker room full of players whose opinion is probably going to be different than yours you need to strictly concentrate on the football side. one things for sure... even if we draft him ..... which I would love in a football sense. I'm never buying his jersey... I don't care if he's league mvp.

Nick Bosa looked good a solid for combined the best. But.. I am honest with you. I am concerned about his two injury from Grion and ACL. If he will miss the games? You never know.

I really wanted draft at Brian Burns because he is best the Pass rush! I believe in him. He is good a deal!

I understand that concern Buzz. I like Burns a lot too, he is my second favorite edge rusher in this class. I do think he needs a couple of years but I wouldn't be shocked if he was as good as Bosa in the future. Burns has the best bend in this class of edge rushers and he's very slippery and fast.
Unhinged...... Bosa will be a niner in 2 weeks
If he can play football at a really high level, and stay healthy that's all i care about.

Still don't understand this.

These NFL players are top 1% guys. I'm pretty sure many of them support Trump and are just reserved about it.

True, though "all game" is really just 1st downs, right? On passing downs, is there an appreciable difference between the two interior positions? Donald would also spell Buck in the rotation, and either guy might rotate to Big End at times.

It's more than just 1st down. Nickel may play 70% of the time but nickel does not mean 2 3 techs. You still have to honor the run on most downs.

I think QW is good enough to shut down screens and draws all by himself in a four man nickel rush, if Buck, Solomon, Ford, and 2nd round (edge rusher pick) are the three other rush men. Seifert did it with Michael Carter, Tuiasosopo, and other quick agile DLinemen that we've had before. In other words, you don't need to honor the run if QW is playing in the middle.

yes i totally agree Rascal,i kinda think that Shannahan is kinda cool on Bozo.QW and J A or a trade down is looking really really really good

I hope some do. Cheaper ticket prices for me. :)

You say that now, but wait until they fly the plane and Jed buckles to pressure and trades Bosa.

I agree. Look at Hollywood, I'm sure it's the same. A lot of conservatives have to keep their heads down. I'm sure it's the same with the 49ers. A good portion of the players come from all over the country and specifically in the rural areas. As long as they play together as a team, it shouldn't matter. Now, if Bosa decides to run for office while being an NFL player, that' might pose some problems.

So many positions to address, but what does your draft (by position) look like? Starting with Bosa, of course.

1. Bosa
2. WR
3. CB
4. LB
5. OL
6. OL

I'd go:
1. Bosa
2. WR
3. DB/Hybrid LB - (a really big safety/or small fast linebacker)
4. DB
6. DB
...and trust Kyle to get another Brieda and Bourne in the undrafted category for offensive depth. Once you have your edge rusher, now you have to shore up your defensive backfield to multiply your Edge Rusher's impact in on the team.

When do you start to get concerned with a future LT? You feeling that yet with Staley?
