The #Cowboys and DeMarcus Lawrence broke through their stalemate and are going to have a 5-year year extension worth more than $100M, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. They've agreed on basic parameters of a deal, sources say. 💰💰💰

The 17.5 sacks?
Josh Allen almost had more then that this past season alone!
Pretty much everything you'd like to see from a potential NFL edge. Hand use, pass rush technique, chaining pass rush moves, high motor, good football IQ, high awareness. There are 29 games worth of tape on Bosa, plenty sufficient to evaluate a guy on his NFL suitability.

But his 40 time was only 4.8 and his three cone was downright disgusting?

Read his draft bio, sound familiar?
He also lined up on the edge and was drafted as an edge rusher, sound familiar?
The good thing is, we will see as Bosa will be drafted into the NFL. I just hope it's not with our team.
No. Thomas was a guy who rarely played on the edge in college and was mostly a DT. He was very raw and the main knock on him was that nobody kneww what his NFL position would be. Bosa is a pure edge with all the technical ability and skill to be a difference maker at the next level. Nobody is wondering where Bosa will fit at the next level, it is as obvious as it with was with his brother.
& ST was the 3rd overall pick!?
The draft Bio I posted from NFL.com said none of this about ST by the way...

I'm a Stanford guy, I watched a lot of ST and yes he rushed from the edge.
He was all over the D-line on the farm!

b******t!
Dave Shaw...
Going purely off of film, this is an explosive interior pass-rusher, which can't be undersold," Shaw said over the phone. "We all think about rushing the passer off the edge, but if you've got a legitimate big-time interior rusher, quarterbacks have a hard time stepping up in the pocket. He will get the quarterback off of his spot and make him uncomfortable."
Solly talked about never playing outside in pass rushing situations, while at Stanford.
Stop making stuff up.

He rarely played on the edge, that is why he was such a huge projection there in the NFL. He played the vast majority of his snaps inside. Bosa has played virtually all of his snaps at defensive end.

Yes, he did line up at end and did fine. IIRC Stanford kind of used him like HOU used Oliver.
However, Bosa and Thomas are very different players.
Thomas = raw, no bend, tweener-ish size, wins with great initial burst
Bosa = polished, can bend, prototype end size, wins with pro-ready skills and good athleticism
Bosa can work both shoulders of an OT. Thomas needs to choose which one he attacks. And even then, can't run around it in an arc.

Also a Stanford guy. Was at Stanford- Colorado game... came away thinking, he could be a good late first rounder. Not 3rd overall!

I was actually going to use him in my Ferrell comp based on what you just mentioned
