STRENGTHS Angular build, well-built frame. His mother, father and uncle were all collegiate athletes. Lined up at multiple positions. Has ravenous approach to the game. Gets out of the blocks quickly and attacks with early, skilled hands. Stays hungry and wants to feast. Powerful for his size. Shows ability to win with power or quickness. Outstanding athleticism. Fluid in his play. Transitions from move to move. Unpredictable pass rush. Attacks both the edges and can crank up a bull rush. Uses swipes, rips and arm-over to unlock his rush. Hands and feet work in unison. Has lightning-quick spin move he can access to unhinge from block and find new life in his rush. Violent disengagements from blocks leave no doubt blocker is whipped. Relentless approach combined with athleticism makes block recoveries extremely difficult in run or pass. Refuses extended engagements to blockers and works himself free. Will sniff out gaps and make himself skinny into the backfield. Very good pursuit speed and range as playmaker.

This (the above) is Solomon Thomas' draft profile, sound familiar?

Check their tape? When both are flying to the QB, they look totally different.

No, because its a ridiculous comparison. The two as players are not even remotely similar. Thomas is nowhere near as technically proficient as Bosa is coming out of college. Might as well compare Myles Garrett to Vernon Gholston while you're at it.

The above draft profile is from NFL.com not some guy on his home computer. The strengths are similar to what a lot of you guys are saying about Bosa. And yes, it says he can rush from the edge with great hands. These two guys are more similar then you think

Wrong, Bosa doesn't fly to the QB. You have to have speed to do that.

Right. I think that point has been debunked.

The point is that Bosa and Thomas are completely different players. Bosa will beast for us.

The NFL is all about guys with freakish athleticism, technique is a given in the NFL since they don't have to teach athleticism at that level.

Just make a list of the leagues all time top pass rushers and you will see athletic freaks all over the place!

Ahhhh go look at Michael Strahan's and Jared Allen's athletic profiles...not elite

And they're both top 10 all-time in sacks.

Two of the best pass rushers in football aren't athletic freaks in chandler jones and Demarcus Lawrence. His brother has 28.5 sacks in 33 games

You're just digging a deeper hole man.

But they aren't. Nothing similar about them from a technique standpoint. Bosa is well advanced and has demonstrated how he can win at the next level repeatedly. Thomas was a guy with good athleticism that you hoped could develop the necessary pass rush technique. He had barely played on the edge in college. Bosa played and dominated on the edge.

Two vastly different prospects.

Basically the same guy!

Not really. How many sacks does DeMarcus Lawrence have? Chandler Jones has been one of the best edges in football, you know what his 40 time was? Bradley Chubb killed it as a rookie on the edge, far from a speed demon.

Its a short distance to the QB once you get around the tackle.

You constantly repeating something so laughably wrong tells me that you either don't know what you're looking at or are just trolling.

Bosa has 17.5 sacks in 3 seasons in college, that is dominating to you?

I'm trolling because I don't agree with you? My argument is clear, not trolling at all.

He was winning off the edge at a higher rate than anyone else in the country, so yes.

Okay then I have zero clue as to what you are looking at or think you are seeing. Thomas and Bosa aren't remotely similar. One was a college DT that was very raw but with good athleticism for the position. Another is a pure edge rusher with advanced NFL level technical ability.
