I'm with you man, we are set to get a top tier player at 2. Bosa, Allen, or Williams would all be great additions to what we've already picked up in free agency. If we can get a receiver of starting quality with our second rounder, which looks entirely possible, I'll be almost as happy as you

He is pure fantasy of projections of what people want him to become. He has not put up any production. He has not shown he can stay healthy. He will be injured for the year by week 3. He will always tease you. People will be waiting for that year where he can stay healthy and put up some production. A year which will never come in his career.

He had 4 sacks and 6 tackles for loss before he got hurt... in 3 games. Honestly, if Bosa doesn't get hurt I don't even think people are debating about this at this point.

Would be interesting if Murray goes first and Lynch pulls off a Solomon special: SF swaps with NYJ, Jets take Bosa, 49ers take QW. Who knows, maybe Simms' recent comments about Allen are meant to make NYJ more desperate to get a Bosa if there's a chance.

I wouldn't mind QW. He's another monster (quoting MadDog). With all the big interior one gap DT's we have, and with QW in the middle, you don't need big two gappers at Left DE and Right DE with QW in the middle. He'll control his two gaps *and* the left side of the D Line or the Right side, depending on the defensive call. At that point, you can go with a Fangio-Seifert 3-4 defense with Dee Ford, Fred, and Kwon as the other 3 LB's and you draft another LB/edge rusher in the 2nd round to make that the 4th linebacker in the 3-4.

In pass rush mode, you can go to a 4-1-6 defense, with QW roaming the middle of the LOS and staying at the LOS and sniffing out draws and screens and shutting those down while Dee Ford, Solomon, and Buckner rush the passer. The only thing is that with QW - you do need to draft that 2nd edge rusher for depth behind Dee Ford.
