I think there is a very real chance that the Cards will take Murray but there seems to be a lot of wishful thinking here in that Arizona taking Bosa suddenly isn't a possibility anymore.

I don't think much of Steve Keim but if he actually tried to pull something like this off, I'm welcome it since it would only be bound to end in disaster. Rosen's value wouldn't suddenly climb with him on the bench and even fewer years left on his rookie contract which is one of biggest positives to drafting a QB.

I'm sure it would work out fine though, Josh Rosen is known for being such a quiet, low key kind of guy that he'd have zero problem sticking around a year after the team made a major commitment to him and handed him the keys to the franchise,

They have their first meetings with the players on 4/8 I feel like it would be awkward as s**t having Rosen in the facility. IMO a trade makes a lot of sense this week

Is that a prediction, NY?

I stand corrected Chaz lol
I doubt the even the Cards know who they are going to take with 4 weeks to go. A lot can change and no telling what kind of offers they will get. Even without a trade I would bet there's a discussion going on internally about whether they should take Murray or Bosa or Williams. Put yourself in their position. They are a terrible team with an aging #1 receiver. They used a high pick on a QB last year. Do you want to take a guy that could anchor your D line for 10 years or a QB that may be great, may be a flash in the pan or maybe a bust. If I were them I'd go trade because they need even more than us. If not a trade then get that potential all pro lineman. Putting Murray on a bad team would make it much harder for him to succeed when there are questions about his size and ultimate durability.

Oh I think Arizona could still take Bosa, no doubt about that. But should Arizona do that, IMO, I don't think they should and it's not because I really want Bosa as a 49er either. I think drafting Murray would easily calm the doubters of the Kliff Kingsbury hire in Arizona, especially when they know their favorite team likes a certain QB. If Murray was drafted, I could see fans in Arizona already claiming Murray to be the next Mahomes. The normal fan, I think, in Arizona would give the drafting of Nick Bosa a big "WTF" especially when there's Chandler Jones already on the roster.

I mean, you do know more than me, no doubt about it living in Phoenix. But as someone on the outside looking in, I think Bosa would be a terrible decision for Arizona, it's not rocket science to figure that one out!!!

Them taking Bosa is still a possibility but I'd say it's slim at this point.

You just don't do this much flirtation with Murray if you don't plan on taking him or trying to sell the pick to a team that will. Unless you've already told Rosen behind the scenes that "Hey we're going to hype Murray to trade try the trade the pick so don't worry you're still our guy" you're doing a ton of damage to the relationship with Rosen the front office and coaching.

I feel like they will hold off right until the draft just to see if anyone throws a wild trade proposal out there to them for that pick. My prediction is they draft Kyler though and will heat up the trade discussions for Rosen right after the pick during the draft.

Could happen, feel like they'd have something in place before draft night.

The big mistake that so many bottom feeders make. Go for the flashy option rather than the one that will build you into a contender. I will never understand why people that do this for living can't figure out that drafting a QB when the rest of the team stinks rarely works. That's why they are bottom feeders year after year. The QB often ends up bouncing around as a backup after getting beat up his first 3 years. Tell me you haven't seen that over and over. Unless the QB is a true once in a generation talent which Murray is not. There will be better options next year.

I can see both scenarios. Arizona needs a lot of help talent wise though. Just my opinion that they'll hold out to see if a favorable proposal presents itself for that top spot. We will see.

How is taking Bosa a possibility, other than they have the #1 pick?
