McShay on his podcast said the other day from agents, GM, front office people all over the league (including AZ)whom he's spoke to they've all pretty much declared Murray the pick..obviously its no official and no one will truly by it until Rosen gets trade or once they make the pick.

Well, they've got 3 weeks to trade Rosen before the draft. I think there's a good chance they keep Rosen and still draft Murray then trade Rosen after the draft.

They will get better value if the trade Rosen before they draft Murray. Arizona will be a media circus with a QB controversy with back to back 1st round QBs.

I actually think this would be a great move by the Cardinals. Two good young QB's on rookie deals could net the Cards a high round draft pick when they do decide to trade one of the QB's if they both develop nicely.

^^^ THIS

at this point I think Keim is all about trading JR for a first round pick so he can save face

And what if by some miracle Rosen gets Arizona within reach of the playoffs then what? You'll have the mob out with their pitch forks for Steve Keim and also an owner having serious doubts about you as a GM. That's like playing with fire if you ask me.

Question: Is this dude more of a future pro-bowler or all-pro?

Here is my expectation: Bosa will probably never be the best edge rusher in the NFL for a season(he'll be one of them), but he'll have a career similar to someone like Ryan Kerrigan where he shows up every single god damn week, kicks ass and makes it a long day for the opposing offense for the next ten years.

That would not be a disappointment. Frank Gore made a HOF career doing that. Frankly ( no pun intended), I would take that over two or three amazing years followed by a huge pay day and drop in production.

He reminds me of a more agile Chris Long

Bosa going #1 is the best thing that could happen for us!!

Yep better for our draft and better for playing against the Cardinals. Given the 3 choices the Cards have to draft, Murray, Bosa, or Williams. As a 49ers fan I would much rather face Bosa twice a season than Murray or certainly Quinnen Williams. In fact if the Cards draft Quinnen Williams I can see the 49ers trading down to acquire more draft capital. A guy like Jonah Williams comes into play as he is projecting as a Guard in the NFL. Facing the Rams and Cards Def for 4 games kind of makes improving the OL a major priority, even more than it already is now.

Yea lol, it will be super fun to see jimmy g get pummeled twice a year by a bosa and chandler jones duo smh

I don't think much of Steve Keim but if he actually tried to pull something like this off, I'm welcome it since it would only be bound to end in disaster. Rosen's value wouldn't suddenly climb with him on the bench and even fewer years left on his rookie contract which is one of biggest positives to drafting a QB.

I'm sure it would work out fine though, Josh Rosen is known for being such a quiet, low key kind of guy that he'd have zero problem sticking around a year after the team made a major commitment to him and handed him the keys to the franchise,

why wouldn't they?

Because a qb with Murray's skill-set with Kliff will put asses in the seats vs any defensive player you could draft. The owner apparently loves him some Murrray as well.
