What makes me laugh concerning the Bosa hate by Cohn is that if the niners don´t take him and if he becomes a star for the Jets, Cohn will be the first to ask for Shanahan and Lynch heads.
Of course, the niners aren´t stupid and everybody knows that they pray for a Bosa miracle.

Cohn get folks riled up but really only stated facts. very complimentary with a Justin Smith comp. There is no bosa hate. Won't play a high impact position on this current roster -fact. Family historically has put their own financial interests ahead of the game and their teammates -fact.
Nothing to hate about that, just not a good fit for the 49ers.

Justin was a quality 4-3 end for years. The problem I have with Cohn's response is he said he's another Solly who has to kick in. That's just not true at all. Bosa can kick in he doesn't need to. He easily can play leo. Maybe a little big but that's how Saleh wants it anyways

The problem I have with Cohn is he knows nothing about football and thinks a player is defined by their height/weight when their bend, pass rush technique and ability to convert speed to power are literally THE most important facets of playing edge and Thomas/Bosa couldn't be any more different in that regard. Like any uninformed sports fan he points to nothing but objective metrics (like this is baseball which has no scheme and nothing but 1 on 1 battles) and if 1 set of objective metrics (eg. height/weight) are the same then they're the same player.

I don't know Cohn's history or care. Just going off what he posted on Bosa.

Bosa was made in a lab for our scheme. Big, pass rush developed, explosive and bendy. They don't make many of those and certainly none on our roster,

High impact in the sense of paying a high salary or investing significant draft capital. When you have a solid group up front, gamers in defensive backfield, you grab a 3rd-5th rounder or an undrafted Michael Bennett type to develop to play Leo. That position is icing on the cake and success there is a result of being stacked with talent.

here we are talking about nick bosa as an interior player because of something that that d!@k head cohn said on yesterday. I almost bought into that bu!!$h!# on yesterday.. today I'm in my right mind LOL !!!!! if bosa is there at number 2 it's a no brainer. run the card up to the podium and give high fives in the war room.

Maybe he does but we add an earl thomas at single high safety and Wagner type sideline to sideline speed in the middle, another gamer at cb, and all the sudden Ronald Blair looks like Michael Bennett. No need to invest top pick or spend big money at Leo.

For some people to compare nick bosa to Solomon Thomas is flat out ridiculous . I just cant resist but some people here and some other people like "grant I am a clown cohn" are just so stupid with there so called knowledge of the sport of football . Get it through your head folks its called common sense and actually watch the film of bosa or just ask the draft experts and they will tell you the same thing . Nick bosa is the best player by far and he is a stud edge pass rusher that can play the leo or big end . Nick bosa is the perfect player for us and if we are lucky enough to draft him you should count your lucky stars because he will be on our team for 10 plus years if he stays healthy and play at a all-pro level .

Could be his wife.
QB pressure single most important thing on defense, hides shortcomings at other positions.
